This is an updated review. My husband and I have been regulars since we first frequented this restaurant and we have noticed some things that have changed our view of this place. The prices have increased with their popularity. We always like to sit in the window booths because they seem to be a little cozier. Recently, we asked for a window seat and the waitress asked us to move to take care of other customers - totally unprofessional. Then, the last time we went (our wedding anniversary) we brought a bottle of Proseco. They ran off almost half of the bottle and the owner said, ""we must've shaken the bottle"" not knowing that it is a bubbly wine. I can understand a mistake but I cannot tolerate lying to excuse your mistake. The owner didn't even offer to compensate us. Then, the same meals we typically order were smaller. Needless to say, we will not be returning to our haven away from traveling to New York. I find that there are other places in Bloomfield that are just as good that we will frequent who will have food that is just as tasty, with less expensive prices and a more professional staff.
