Spice Hut

I Never been there , but a lot of my friends discover this lovely place , i love Indian food and i am from NY , i discover a lot place in the east willage and they are all fantastic place , so i agree with my friends and with all the people who review Spice Hut , Spicy food is yummy , i love the way how the setinng is done by Indian restaurants , and the price compare to my friends , i have been told very reasonable and also they offer catering services , i will definitely go there if i travel one day next to that place , my experience with Indian food , excellent and very reasonable price . more

This restaurant has awesome Indian delicacy for a very nominal rate. The food is very tasty and delicious. Everyone should try it once. more

This place offers a variety of south Indian dishes and a very reasonable price. They also offer catering services. Its a fairly new restaurant in bay area but it has made its place. I love there set dosa(Not lot of restaurants in bay area offer u that) . I am not a great fan of there sambhar. Overall its worth a try. more

The place has the ambience of a normal fast food joint. They've lots of gas heaters outside, which makes it a nice hangout place. The food is really good. All dishes (including meats) are prepared in South Indian style. What this means for you is that you must not go in expecting chicken curry to taste like Mughlai chicken curry. It will taste more like sambhar! All the meat dishes are hot. They also serve indo-chinese food. The malabar parantha is good too. They have a newbranch opened in Fremont, close to Coconut Hill, the Indian grocery. The food is extremely good, and the place is very crowded despite being very spacious. If you like Kerala-style cooking, its definitely worth checking out. The price is inexpensive. They offer 3, 4 5 item combo's at reasonable prices and the quantity is decent. I usually buy one 5 item combo for take out and its usually enough for me and my husband along with some home made bread. The noise and crowd levels are high. Not a place for a calm sit-down dinner or a date. Overall a nice, inexpensive place. more
