This place was recommended to me, so, when my first visit yielded a steak that was just barely tolerable, I decided to try again. The second trip comfirmed my first impression.
Each time I ordered the porterhouse. Each was obviously a good cut of meat. The first was ordered medium rare and came to the table medium well, a dull brown through and through. The second was ordered rare. It was a ditto of the first. Both were misprepared and worse yet, nearly tasteless.
The service was well paced and friendly and the bartender didn't skimp. So it wasn't a total loss.
