Spanky's

Coulda, shoulda, woulda... Don't get me wrong... Spanky's is a great place... but I would really like it a lot more if I could actually buy clothes their. It seems as if they are skewed against me. Being a thin 19 year old guy... this is not the best place to find clothes. Besides having a *very* small men's section... the 'Small' section is *reallllllly* small. It's kind of rediculous. There might be 20-30 shirts that would fit me (and I wouldn't wear most of them). And I'm not even going to get into the pants.... But, otherwise... Spanky's has a plethora of women's, children's, and baby's clothes. So check em out sometime, surely you will find something you love. more

I'm a fan of consignment and retail stores. Spanky's has a consistently good selection of merchandise and pretty good prices. I've also consigned a few items there with some success. Like most consignment stores, you have to sort through the racks to find what you want. Their buying seems to be a bit uneven; I'm always a bit surprised to see well out-of-style items and rather worn items at higher prices than I would expect. But there are also always those few items that I can't live without, so they must be doing something right. Definitely check their clearance floor where items are only $2. Consigning items is a good way to get rid of clothes you don't need/want/fit into anymore, or to lose those last few odd items from the lot you bought on ebay. You'll earn credit for future purchases or even a check if they sell more than $22 of clothing for you. more

I've been to Spanky's a few times, and while I haven't purchased anything, I was pleased with their clean, organized store, and the ease with which I was able to find things. Some Consignment shops are overfilled and it's difficult to find what you are looking for, but Spanky's was very easy to shop! more

Spanky’s is a resale store that carries clothes for the whole family. They also have used baby furniture and other children’s items. There is a big selection of clothes at reasonable prices and they carry what is in style and suitable for each season. Also a good place to take clothes you want to sell on commission. Be sure to call to find out their hours for accepting items and what the rules are. Great store for finding bargains! more

Spanky’s is a great place to buy slightly use clothes. The clothes that are at Spanky’s are in very good condition. The one down side is that they tend to be a bit pricey for use clothes. The store is very clean and well kept up. It has the atmosphere of a store with new clothes. more

Sometimes you can find some great deals at this childrens consignment shop. Other times I wonder why someone would pay retail price for something that has been previously used. My favorite time to shop is the 1st of the month when they rotate clothing to the $2 racks and floor. You have to get there early because it's crazy... literally women shoving to get in the door first. It's mind boggling. I've had different experinences in customer service. Almost all of the sales associates are sweet and friendly. It's the women who sort through the consigments I've found to be snotty at times. And I still don't understand why they would not accept some items that are new without the tags??? more
