At Southside we specialize in traditional American roots food like NC style Barbecue, Louisiana Cajun and Creole dishes and southern classics. Chef Sarah McClure creates weekly specials that supplement these traditional foods with modern eclectic cuisine learned in some of the best kitchens in the southeast. Examples of our weekly specials include hunters pasta with rabbit, peas, mushrooms, onions and basil in a creamy white wine sauce or our trout romesco over red rice. Whenever possible our vegetables are seasonal and locally sourced from farmers in the Landrum area.
