I have purchased two cars from this dealership and they have both been wonderful. I paid a fair price and the transactions were handled professionally. Both were used cars and I've never had a problem with either of them. I didn't experience any of the issues the other tipsters did. Personally, I give them a thumbs up!! more

Poor service, fraudulent business practices. 5/2/2012

Do not EVER buy a car from here. Bought a car on December 30th. They offered me a really good deal, but before I bought the car, I checked on all repairs that needed to be done and verified multiple times that the vehicle had no frame damage, by word and through Auto Check. I also told the dealership that I wanted an extended warranty on this car. If one wasn't available, I wouldn't buy the car. They told me they had one, and sold it to me. Multiple issues have arrived soon after. The due bill was not properly completed. For the life of me, I don't know how you can mistake the cause of a driveline shaft. They said it was a misbalanced wheel. Turns out it's loose engine and transmission mounts. Since I had no faith in their service department shortly after that, I took it to an independent mechanic to repair through use of the extended warranty. Find out that the warranty turned down the repairs because the warranty was never put into effect. I was real upset and talked with Eric about it, who said he would get it handled. Two weeks later, he says there is no extended warranty available for the car. This really infuriated me as the warranty is specifically marked on the sales contract. The owner, Abbas Ahmadi (NOT Chuck Bien), said he would make the warranty happen. We resubmitted the paperwork for the warranty. A week later, it comes back again denied. At this point, I wanted them to take the car back and give me my money back. The sales contract shows an extended warranty, which can not be given to me. I gave them a total of 3 and a half months to get it resolved, and they didn't. Eric kept dragging on, saying that it would take time to get it authorized by the owner. At the end of it, he said they wouldn't take the car back, but they would take it in as a trade in. I insisted this was unacceptable. Eric tried to make it sound like I did something wrong and that it was my fault. They said that 'as a favor' they would by the car back for $5000 below was the payoff was and that was their final option. I was also told by a different sales manager from the Victorville store, who was temporarily at South Coast for the day, that the owner would not talk to me, and that if this issue escalated, it would involve Chuck Bien, who is the CFO and the company's attorney. I did some research and found no evidence that Chuck Bien is an attorney nor is he accredited with any state bar. Long story short, I have a car with no warranty, which I paid for, repairs that were never done correctly, AND to top it off, the car had frame damage, which apparently was repaired. This was lied about. Long story short, I haven't driven the car since they refused to help me, and I won't because the car can't be repaired among other reasons. It's going to be a long legal headache for me, but now it's the principle of the matter. Don't buy a car here, new or used. Period. more

Very Disappointed 3/12/2012

I spent 2 days back and forth on the phone negotiating the price of a Beetle. I live several hours from this dealership and didn't want to go there until I got the price I wanted. Once we agreed on price, I had an independent mechanic check out the car. The convertible top wouldn't work and the back window had a small piece of cardboard tucked in it holding it up ! This was after I had been told by the salesman that they do a thorough multi point inspection and that the car was in great shape. No one offered to do anything about it. I called later and spoke with the manager, Eric, thinking he would want to know. He told me he knew it was missing one module, and that it needed two. He gave no reason, no apology, as to why they didn't tell us it was not working before I came in. Obviously they had every intention of selling it to us knowing it was broken. Since this happened I checked this company out. Turns out they are not accredited with the BBB and 30 complaints have been filed against them since 2010. 16 for product and service issues. Most of the complaints against them go unanswered. I asked for the owners name and email and Eric told me he can't give out email but I can send it to him and he'll forward it to the owner, Chuck Bien. Right. This is why we should all check with the BBB before not after ! more

Mitsubishi Sucks!!!!! 12/29/2011

This is my review for the Service Department. Worst service ever. I took my car for an oil leak. I spoke with Steve Grove the service tech. He told me that they needed to replace the valve cover gasket and a few ""o"" rings so that the leak on my 2002 Mitsubishi Spyder would stop. He called me back with the estimate and it was about 1300. I said WOW!!! but ok I have to get my car fix so I said ok. I got it back a few days after. Once at home I noticed it was still leaking so I talk to the service Manager Gary Dencklau, that was a waste of time. I told him my car is still leaking oil and I payed over 1,000 dollars. He said well we only replace the parts that looked more common for an oil leak. I told him, that's nice but Steve said everything was ok and that there wasn't any more leaks. Gary (Manager) says well "" I'm not a mind reader to know where all the oil leaks are at"". I said well I took it for an oil leak and the leak is still there. Gary says well I guess your going to need additional work done. I said ok, at your cost because if I brought it in for an oil leak, and it's still leaking oil, then what the hell was all that money I payed for then? He said once again he wasn't a mind reader and that he wasn't responsible for that since they replaced what they thought was the oil leak at that time. I said you gotta be kidding me. He said he wasn't going to help me out and tuff luck. I said ok, well I'm going to report you to the business bureau. He said well do what you gotta do. I couldn't believe my ears. I tried to do the right thing by taking it to a Mitsubishi Dealer and then they blow me off once they have taken all my money. These guys are a bunch of thieves. This is my first time writing a review, just because I wonder if they have done this to anybody else. I spoke to a friend that is a lawyer and he definitely told me to report this type of problem to the BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS. People do not get fooled. If any of you have had a problem with this dealer go ahead and check out the website for the BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS maybe they can help you out. BEWARE OF GARY DENCKLAU (SERVICE MANAGER) he doesn't care who he screws over. Hopefully this review can help many of you. I am also getting a lawyer, reporting it to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AND THE BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR. Don't be a victim to this type of crime. Knowledge is power. more

Great Variety/Great Prices/Good People 9/17/2011

Great dealership!! I purchased my car here 3 years ago and have nothing but positive things to say. My mom and a few friends have also followed in my foot steps and purchased their cars here as well. My experience with service has always been positive too! more

Don't go here to buy anything! 2/1/2009

Horrible customer service. At first, everything was good. Then, it began when I asked for some water. First guy said I had to buy it from the vending machine. Second guy actually pointed me to the drinking fountain. I went for a test drive and the car was really nice. We went in to negotiate and I threw out an offer of about 3,000 less than advertised. I was giving a reasonable offer since I knew they would ask for a little more. A random manager comes walking by and asks me if I had a drink before going to them. He then tells me that I'm crazy and that I should buy the car elsewhere. I leave and while I'm driving out of the lot, a guy comes out of no where saying he's the owner of the dealership and four others. Of course I don't believe him because his shirt colar looked like he had washed it in the laundry machine and didn't iron it. He tries to play good cop and says these exact words ""What will it take for you to buy this car? I want your money. I'm never going to see you again after you buy the car so that's why the employees here are like this."" BS man. His name is Sam and he's Persian. Go to a real dealership guys and avoid this one. You won't even get a cup of water if you're thirsty. Pros: Lack of water for those of you who are made of sand. Cons: Horrible customer service. Will try to rip you off and show you ridiculous numbers. Showed me invoice cost of car just to try to con me into thinking the car was a steal. more

Very helpful and easy to deal with 5/20/2008

I purchased an outlander from them, when I had no intention of buying and was just looking to compare. \r The outlander is a great car for the price but these guys got me the exact color and options from the other dealer that took them an hour to get and meanwhile they gave me straight talk and price.\r The staff was great in follow up and my wife loves her new car.\r \r Thanks you. Pros: Staff and the service provided more
