We did a 45K service there (big mistake - very overpriced) and asked to check alternator because of some suspection we had. They said it was OK. 2 weeks later car battery died - it was not charging at all. We brought it there (because we suspected alternator and we have extended warranty that covers it). They checked, confirmed alternator problem, and said that they need to order one as they don't have any. Next day they called at 1pm and said everything is done, we could pick up the car. We showed up at 5pm, and waited for 1 hour until they found keys. The moment we turned on the car, it behaved as the battery had a very little charge. My husband went back and asked if they checked other possible reasons for battery not charging (since there is a new alternator, maybe something else was wrong). Sound Ford reassured that low battery charge in the beginning is normal. We drove off a 100 ft and battery died. They brought back the car and GUESS WHAT..??? THEY SAID THAT THEY FORGOT TO CHANGE THE ALTERNATOR!!! The car was brought there for only 1 thing - TO CHANGE THE ALTERNATOR. They ordered a NEW alternator only for us. They CALLED and informed that car can be picked up. We PAID THE BILL and drove off with an OLD ALTERNATOR! Disgusting...
