finally! a cut that I LOVE that actually works with my natural texture! 3/4/2009

i moved to atlanta nearly 5 years ago, after a very tearful goodbye to my 5-yr stylist back home. since then, i had yet to find anyone who could cut my naturally wavy hair in a flattering cut that didn't require too much maintenance. seemingly every stylist in this town is deeply infatuated with their flat irons, and i just wasn't having it anymore. Chad at Soho Salon not only understood exactly what i was asking for, but really understood the challenges of working with wavy hair, and gave me a fantastic cut that works wonderfully with my natural texture. he also blended colors to give me the perfect brunette color i was after, one that looks both dramatic and natural at the same time. two weeks and several washes and self-stylings later, i am still in love with my new cut. Pros: Service, Knowledgable Staff, Ambience, Complimentary Bevs & Snacks Cons: The only con for me is the location, as the salon is in Alpharetta, and I live in Smyrna and work in Buckhead. more

Soho Salon is the best in Atlanta! 3/3/2009

Soho Salon is the best! I have been going to Chad for about 5 years now and will never change. Not only is he (and the salon) on the cutting edge of style, it is a hip, fun and relaxing place to be. B.C. (Before Chad) I had been to several ""Big Name"" salons in Atlanta, and felt like a number and felt no connection to the hairdresser or salon. With Soho, I feel like I am visiting with old friends and hate to leave. The staff really listens and cares and they cater to your every need. Chad is very talented and truly an artist! I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone, you will LOVE it! Pros: Talent, Friendliness, Atmosphere, Service, Style, Fun, Value. more

Alpharetta's Best Hair Salon 2/28/2009

I have been coming to Soho Salon since it opened, and have been seeing the same hairdresser (Chad) for almost 8 years. The atmosphere is relaxing yet fun, and they provide what I consider the best service in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area. The staff is friendly and very professional. The environment is clean, and hip. I always leave here looking more beautiful than when I came in. The staff at Soho will take great care of you just as they have taken great care of me. I will be moving considerably farther away from the salon than where I am living now, but I will continue to come to Soho as I won't find a better hair salon elsewhere. Simply the best... 2/28/2009

...better than all the rest! I moved to Atlanta a little over a year ago and was eager to find a hairstylist that I could trust. I'm somewhat conservative with my style, and i've found it challenging to find a stylist who will really listen to what you want. I was fortunate to find Rachelle through my older sister and am always pleased with the results that she delivers! My sister and I are lucky to have found Rachelle! She even traveled all the way to Charleston to style our hair for my sister's wedding! Pros: SIX STARS! Cons: NADA! more

I will follow Chad to the ends of the earth! 2/27/2009

Chad has been my only hairdresser for over 13 years. I have followed him to 3 salons over the years. SoHo is by far the greatest due to Chad being such a visionary. Chad makes it an absolute treat to have your hair done. Chad and his staff devote their undivided attention to your needs, not to mention fabulous snacks and allthe latest magazine issues. I love the atmosphere of his salon...a very trendy, urban kind of feel. Chad's salon offers the latest, most updated srevices and products in hair care. I will never commit ""hair dresser adultery"" on Chad. He's my hairdresser for LIFE! Pros: wifi, ambience, CHAD himself! Cons: absolutely none! more

Best Salon EVER! 2/24/2009

I started going to SOHO Salon after a good friend recommended it to me. I have been going to Rachelle for over a year now. She always knows exactley what to do with my hair! I am very picky; I want bright blonde highlights that look natural and she always delivers! I have complete confidence in Rachelle and her work; I would recommend her to anyone. more

I have seen several stylists in the past, but I have never been as satisfied with my hair since I started seeing Rachelle 4 years ago. She is always creative and inspired by my crazy ideas that I have for my hair! I love that I can sit in her chair and say do whatever you think is best and I trust you! Tracy at SoHo Salon is Awesome! 2/19/2009

I highly recommend Tracy Stephens at Soho Salon to cut and color hair. I moved to Atlanta over 3 years ago and tried a few stylists, but always ended going back to VA where I used to live to get my hair hi-lited and cut. Until I met Tracy - I was so lucky to find her - and have been going to her for almost 3 years. After talking about what was important to me, she changed my hair style and color, which goes so much better with my skin tone--I love my color so much better. The salon is great - a relaxed atmosphere with coffee, water, soda & snacks. If you're looking for a new salon, Soho's the one, and ask for Tracy -- you'll be glad you did! LOVE Tracey!! 2/18/2009

I have highlighted hair with long layers and in the past have asked for a trim, in other salons, only to turn around and be missing like 3 inches of hair!!! When I go to Tracey and ask her for a trim, she does just that! A trim! Get's the dead ends off and really makes my hair look healthy again. She also does my color and it always looks beautiful!! I always get a ton of compliments and have sent a lot of my friends to see her! You'll love her too! Pros: Lots of snacks, coffee bar and a great atmosphere Cons: Can't think of any more

Rachelle Meadows at SOHO 2/18/2009

I have been going to Rachelle to cut and highlight my hair for about 5 years now. I started going to her when she was in Statesboro, GA and continued to come to her when she started at Soho. She does a great job at cutting, coloring, and styling your hair in a way that is unique to you. I am always satisfied when Rachelle does my hair, the color and cut are always perfect. She also fixed my hair for my wedding and spent hours on it to make sure it was perfect. If you are searching for a place for you to get your hair fixed, I recomment SoHo and for you to ask for Rachelle! more

Melanie and company are the greatest! 2/17/2009

This salon is like no other! You relize that from the first moment you walk through the door. Never have I felt rushed or unimportant. Melanie always greets me by my name and asks if she can get me one of their many chocolate treats or something from the coffee bar. You have your choice of sitting at one of their many cafe style tables or at the central table with too many magazines too count. Melanie listens to me as to what I want for my hair and it has never looked better. You will be pampered beyond messure! more

This salon has a comfortable, hip atmosphere. The stylists are up to date and you are welcomed as soon as you step inside. I definitely would, and have, recommend it to anyone who is looking for a salon. more

Best Salon in the Atlanta area! I have been going to Melanie Whyte since i moved to Georgia 5 years ago and I will never go anywhere else! She is the most creative and talented stylist/colorist I have ever been to. The salon is fun and offers everything you need including surfing the net while getting your hair colored! Perfect hair color 2/14/2009

The salon is fantastic. Chad colors my hair every 3-4 weeks. He is so consistant with what I want. His personality is always up-beat. I grew up in NYC and since I moved to GA eight years ago, I find that Chad is at the top when knowing about hair color and cut. I'm always happy with my hair when I leave the salon. more

I love this salon! It is very jazzy in appearance with comfortable customer service. Robyn is my stylist and she really understands my needs and gave me the most awecome color and style. I get compliments constantly for the cut. It is great to feel so good about my hair - it is also the easiest hair style I have had in years to maintain. Kristy Warner could do good hair in her sleep. 2/13/2009

Kristy has been working with my hair for about a year and it has been a wonderful transition from my former Buckhead stylist. She is energetic and full of great ideas. I wish I could take her home with me to style my hair. She really puts her all into making sure I love my hair when I leave. She is forthcoming with styling tips and just great conversation in general. I recommend anyone that ask to Muse and Kristy W.. Soho's Great - Ask for Chad! 2/13/2009

I started coming to Soho Salon several years ago after a recommendation from my sister, and I have been a very satisfied customer. The salon has a very comfortable atmosphere that boasts some of the most talented stylists in the area. Chad, one of the owners, is a creative colorist and stylist -- and I ALWAYS get compliments on the way my hair looks after leaving the salon. My color lasts and blends well with my natural tones. Highlights and lowlights are beautiful. And, the cut is always stylish. Another feature that Chad offers is that he is also a photographer, so he has an eye for creativity and beauty. His talents extend beyond the salon. In addition to the talent Soho offers, the salon is also very community-minded. About a year ago my niece had her hair cut here for the Locks-for-Love program. Overall, anyone looking to receive a compliment about how great they look would truly benefit from getting their hair done at Soho Salon in Alpharetta. Pros: You know you will always leave looking your best. Cons: You get what you pay for. So, if you want the best it is going to be a little more costly. more

Soho is a great salon, i moved to Alpharetta GA a year ago and had a hard time finding a hair salon that matched my hair needs. Soho was recommended to me and the 1st time I walked in I knew I was in the right place, when you walk in you are warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. All the stylist look great which assures you they know their stuff., I lucked out with my stylist Robin she took the time to listen and help me choosing my hair color and style. I left the salon that day knowing I had found my hair salon. I've been coming here ever since and as someone who had to choose a new hair salon in a new town I highly recommend Soho you won't regret it. Pros: skilled stylist more

chad rocks 2/13/2009

i started coming here after driving alolng way to another salon. i have two little girls, 10 and 7 who absolutely love coming into this salon becuase of their outstanding service to both adults and my girls. Chad has always done a fabulous job with my oldest daughter's very curly thick hair. he also cuts my husbands hair -- which is course and thick. i came in with some damage from my hair that i received from going to another prominent salon in Duluth. i will not go anywhere else. between the hightlights, lowlights, perfect hair cuts and recommendations on products that actually work, i will never go anywhere else....unless chad decides to relocate....even if to dubai! lol Pros: love it!!! more
