I love Soho Spa. I went and had a complete package including Bikini wax. Everyone was super nice! I loved my hair, my nails, awesome massage and facial and very experienced wax person! Will definately be back and fabulous prices! The special was $150 for eveything! Pros: Full Service and Great Boutique! Cons: parking at lunch time more

I just moved here about 3 months ago. I have been look ing for the perfect salon in Tampa. I have been to many salon in here and have not found the one. Well last week i found my perfect salon in South Tampa. Justina did my hair and I LOVE IT!!!! Its the best anyone has ever done it. Its a must that you go see her.She is the best at what she does!!!!! Oh and the salon is so cute. I need to be careful there because i can spend my whole paycheck if im not careful. I just moved to the area and wanted desperately to unwind and get pampered. In a world where fast, cheap pedicures performed by people who can't even speak english rule it was soooo great to find a place like soho. Jessica has over 15 years experience as you can tell after one touch. She has a special area that feels like a cozy room in your house. The pedicure lasted an hour and my feet have never been treated with such care. She has all types of special masks, hot stones etc... the pedicure was truly a one of a kind experience. I've been seeing Suzanne at Soho to get my hair done for over a year now, and she's just fabulous. When I needed her most, i.e. my wedding day, she styled my hair and did my makeup, and I felt like a movie star! I even bought some jewelry at the boutique there for my "something new." I went to Soho Spa today for a massage and a pedicure...it was the most relaxing two hours I've had in a long while. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist and all the girls made me feel like I was "home"...and with all the great clothes, one of a kind, awesome jewelry and yummy bath products, I wish I did live there. It smells sooooo good, too. The massage was wonderful and relaxing, the pedi has transformed my toes (they're actually pretty, now) and I can't wait to go back, again and again and again. Every one there is always so friendly and warm, and the services are always superb! It's got to be my fav place in South Tampa to relax, shop and be pampered. more

I was so excited when I moved to the SOHO area to find so many salons within walking distance, however, this is the worst of all nearby. I specifically chose this salon for AVEDA. The stylists are inexperienced, and my haircut was not even and I had to go to another salon nearby to fix the color. Also, you do no know whether this is a snobby tacky boutique or a spa. What is up with that? In addition, they had no Aveda products to sell that I needed. I do not recommend this place. DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a joke. You arrive to unfriendly front desk, big hair, full of purses, tacky jewelry, and cheap clothing. I thought I was supposed to find a salon someplace here. The place is so overwhelming and small and crowded, now I understand why I got such a lousy haircut. The stylist had to move out of the way for people walking by and could not concentrate on what she was doing. Then the girl who was doing pedicures dumped her dirty water into the bowl where my head had to go!!! YUCK.. The are so not an aveda salon. aveda should be ashamed.................. more

I cannot even begin to put into words how much I truly appreciate the talents of Miss Suzanne Barnes at Soho Spa. Soho Spa is a class act from start to finish. Being blonde is a way of life and there is no alternative. Spending so much time and so much money on keeping my locks the golden hue I desire has been no easy feat, that is until I was introduced to Suzanne and the Soho Spa. I cannot tell you how many salons and how many stylists have had their hands in my hair with disappointing results. The head stylist at Soho, Suzanne has more talent then South Tampa has BMW?s. You expect this type of stylist to be found in New York or LA not Tampa. Suzanne and her talents are an asset to any organization she works with and you will be lucky if you find your way to her chair. Avada trained, she has made her craft into an art form. I love Aveda! As soon as you enter Soho it smells like Aveda. They carry eveything, which is very hard to find. Justina did my hair and it was incredaible!! The Aveda color feels so soft and the colors are incredly natural. I didn't know what I wanted for a style and Justina was very helpful and had a lot of hip ideas. I loaded up on all my Aveda shampoo and skincare too. I will defiantley be back and I highly recommend Justina for your Hair. Pros: Aveda products Cons: parking more

I was enjoying a pedicure at Soho Spa until the bridal party from Hell walked in. The Soho girls kept their cool and remained calm. Even at the height of the Bridezilla everyone was very professional. The updo' that the girls did were staright out of a bridal show. Good job girls, way to stay calm and do awesome work. Oh, and needless to say my pedicure was great. P.S. Suzanne rocks! more

Soho is the one place I know I can go any time or day for a great pick-me-up!! I have been a loyal client for 8 yrs now and never tire of its charm. The girls are all fabulous and instantly put a smile on your face. I always feel welcomed even if it is to just stop by and have a cup of tea. And I always find a little treasure in the Boutique to take home! The artisan jewlery is all one-of-a-kind and made by the owner. As far as the Spa services you can find no one in town that can compete with Rasa for Facials and Stephanie for Massages both have almost been there since it opened in 1996! Very cute spa, convenient location. Prompt greeting upon arrival and immediate offer of a beverage, which was nice. However, it kind of goes downhill after the initial good impression. I booked an appointment for : "purescription hair and scalp treatment - 45 minutes $45 - a deep scalp massage remedies dry, oily, sensitve, or dandruf conditions and includes Aveda shampoo and finishes with styling" (verbatim description, cut and pasted from their website). Let me just tell you this is misleading and it was not executed as advertised. I was out of there in under half an hour. After introductions to my stylist, there really wasn't much analysis as to what I needed, and I was kind of cut off when I tried to articulate my concerns about my hair. I was also told the conditioning treatment is $25 and the blowdry is not included and is another $25. When I explained that I was under the impression that I would be receiving the service as described on the website (above), I was again dismissed and told that the $45 referred to some color glossing treatment that isn't even mentioned in the description. Then the stylist backpedaled and said I shouldn't blowdry it anyways to allow the conditioner to penetrate. I was a bit disappointed with this experience and honestly I don't think it did much for my hair. It was a short, standard shampoo/massage, and I would have preferred it taking a longer amount of time considering it was touted as a feature of the treatment. I left with a wet head ostensibly for this conditioner to soak in. Hours later, my hair still seems pretty dry, and my scalp actually seems flaky now. I guess it is a lesson learned about falling for a bait and switch...I wasted my time and money hoping to obtain revitalized hair. I gladly make the long haul from Safety Harbor to SoHo to see Suzanne. I have really thin hair (too many years of home perms I guess), but Suzanne brings it to life. And the way she styles it takes years off of my appearance. Plus, she puts up with me and never stops being super sweet. more

I walked into this place one day on a Friday afternoon, desperately in need of a haricut before a big weekend that I had planned. I had never been there before, but the place is close to my work, so I stopped in. I'm glad I did, as I've never gone anywhere else for a haircut since then. The place is nice, and Suzanne gives me the best haircuts. I never really know how to wear my hair or how I want it cut and she always makes the greatest suggestions and it comes out looking awesome. I don't have to try to keep up with styles and trends, I can just trust her to make me look good. more

I don't know how I survived before I started seeing Suzanne at Soho. Okay, that's a little dramatic, but she gives me the best haircuts I've ever had, which is saying something given my completely unruly hair (think of Ronald McDonald, but with brown hair). Everyone who works at Soho is super nice and I refer all of my friends there. more
