I agree with the review posted 4-17-2009. Nothing has improved over the years. Mechanical service is good but the customer service and attitude of the owner Mr. Smith is horrible. He blames the customers for defective parts that he installs and makes a scene in front of his employees and customers as well. My mother was recently there for a dead battery and Mr. Smith came out of his office screaming at her for not keeping the battery charged by driving the car more often. He went on and on ranting and yelling at her until she was amost in tears. If he had checked his records, he would have seen that he had installed the battery 5 years ago and it was at the end of its life and not my mothers fault. Then the battery he put into her truck had a dead cell and again he yelled at her for the failed battery and made her feel embarrased in front of other customers and staff. I had planned to start going back to him after my factory warranty runs out on my new vehicle but I will not be going back and neither will my mother. Both of us have been long-time customers of Smith but no more. We will be going to Chapman from now on. Glad Mr. Smith has plenty of business that he can afford to be very rude to customers and run them away. The rest of the staff there seems to care but the owner, of all people, does not seem interested in keeping repeat customers.
