I showed up today for my appointment today to find the place empty, last time I was there I bought a new hair removal package. I feel completely duped, they took my money knowing that they were closing. I am with RW, if you have any advice, I would appreciate it. more

Just had lipo last November and do chemical peels and laser at Sleek. the staff is efficient, friendly and professional. Natasha Hansi is great! Ask for her for laser, micro, and chemical peels. more

I absolutely love this place! Where can i Start.. Well i love the services! I have been coming here for about 2 years now. I originally came here to get rid of my unruly stubborn hair... no more waxing! yay! then once that was gone i spoke to the wonderful estheticians in the room about my severe acne i had on my back that ive had since high school. Now in my 20's.. how embarrassing :/ it was wonderful to have some private time and talk about my problems. they started me on chemical peels and a cleanser that cleared it all up! now i am so confident to wear a dress again! even though it does get busy some times and you have to wait, i guess it means that it is pretty popular!! keep it up sleek! more

I had an appointment last Wednesday which was scheduled by a call center in Florida. I left work early to make the appt since they didn't have late hours on the day it was convenient to me. I arrived on time and met with a consultant and just waited and waited and waited for the Doctor who apparently was in surgery till who knows when. When I was informed of this situation I was ticked off because I should have been notified in advance when they called the same day to confirm that Dr. is in surgery today and no need to rush as it could run till so and so time. However, I did speak to the consultant Voula, (who was super nice) and try to bat for my side. lol The operating manager also tried to rectify the situation so she got the office manager involved who then approached the situation by giving away a free therapy treatment. I was thrilled about that. Hey who doesn't like something free? I relaxed and we were able to reschedule for a time and day that works best for both. Nice!! more

Please read this and take it seriously. I only wish I had read a review that compelled me to avoid going to Sleek Medspa for liposuction. I am a medical professional and sought out Dr. Haramis because I had worked with him in the past and trusted him to take good care of a colleague. Allowing him to perform lipo was the biggest mistake I have ever made and one which I will regret forever. I paid an obscene amount of money (and that is with a professional courtesy discount). Despite this, the staff refused to provide me with a post-op garment which most reputable practices will do. So I went home in my own spanx. No one ever called to check on me post-op. Initially, I was prematurely optimistic and made the mistake of referring people to Dr. Haramis, something I also regret. After the swelling went down, I realized how wrong I was about my outcome. I noticed a huge mass of ugly scar tissue on my abdomen. My thighs have big divots because my incision was placed mid-thigh instead of in the groin where it can be hidden. When I showed Dr. Haramis this, he denied responsibility stating that it was my thigh shape that caused this effect. I also developed a seroma on my hip which he chose not to drain ""because it will just re-collect again."" I returned for another post-op visit and was told Dr. Haramis was in the OR and couldn't see me but that they would send a nurse to see me. I had to request that they bring in another surgeon to check me. The other surgeon, Dr. Hyman, seemed totally disinterested and had no clue how to address the deformities. The nurse told me my hard, firm scar tissue was swelling and said it would resolve - wrong on both counts. more

I went to this place for a free consultation. I met with the consultant who didn't answer all the questions I had and it just seemed like I had done more research on smart lipo , than she did. However she was very pushy saying I need three areas that would look nice , she claimed she had done the procedure a week ago etc. At the end of it I wasn't convinced . I told her I would discuss with my fianc? and two days later she called I told her I won't be doing the procedure. Four days later she called with this ""great offer she was able to get"" it was for $2000 less than my initial quote. I was at work so I told her I needed time to think and discuss with my fianc? , she insisted it was a time sensitive offer and to secure it I would need a deposit. That trew a flag up, so I asked about the refund and how the deposit works if I didn't go ahead. She assured me if I changed my mind before meeting with the doctor it's 100% money back. So I made the deposit should I get the goa ahead from my partner. She sent me an email to authorize the charge via mobile device, four minutes later I responded asking to see the policy in black and white this request was ignored. Ten minutes later I received 2 emails, one with an appointment scheduled for the same day at 3:30 ( it was already close to 5 pm) so this bothered me . The next email was from my bank saying money was drawn . I got pissed because I specifically asked to have the documents emailed prior to charging my card. Anyway, I couldn't ach her by phone so I sent 3 emails none of which were answered. So the next day I decided I didn't like the way they operated so I would take my business elsewhere . I informed the surgical coordinator and she told me the consultant would need to call me back. She never did so I called the following day and asked that my card be refunded , that was 5 th December . She told me she will submit it and it will take up to four weeks! Are you kidding me ? Why so long? She's not sure , ok. So it's now January 3 rd I haven't heard from them since, I had to pay over 21% interest and protection charges on the amount. So I called them today and all I get is I don't know , I don't know....call this person, call that person still no resolve. That's why I'm waiting this review hoping that persons don't become vulnerable and gullible to the trickery involved in this companys tacky way of exploiting potential clients. Looks like I will end up in court with them. My advice is , If it sounds too good to be true....it is! They bombarded me with calls to get a deposit now I can't get a hold of anyone to resolve my case. Shame on you Sleek look for yourselves in Arnold Diaz Hall of Shame. more

I have been going to Sleek for years and finally found the technician of my dreams there. Natalie Sharp is the only person to ask for, she is a GENIUS. I have done both Botox and Juvederm with her and have been absolutely DELIGHTED with her results. I have gone to several technicians previous to Natalie and her work is hands down the best. She takes her time, really listens to what your needs are and is committed to addressing them and ensuring you are happy with the results. She is also VERY knowledgeable about these procedures and knows exactly how to work with them to achieve the desired result. She's a true artist and I wouldn't go to anyone else. more

came to N.Y. for friends wedding. Asked where I could go for hair removal and massage that could get me in on short notice. Some one at their job told them about sleek. I called and was able to get in the next day. When I got there they told me the prices for hair removal, I wanted my legs and Brazilian,along with under arms. I also wanted a full body message and body wrap. The price was double what I pay in Florida, but I was here and this is N.Y. They pushed to get dermabrasion which I dont need. They asked if I had any shyness to being nude and if I would be more relaxed with a male or female tech. Im not shy, infact I like to show off my body, but I do feel more relaxed with a female. They gave me a robe and sent me into a cramped changing room and where I put my clothing and personal things was open to all clients to see. The room was cold as I toke off my robe and laid face down on the table, they didnt even give me a cover so I was but naked when the tech. came in. She rubbed in warm oils that felt grate and smelled so good, I soon was warming up and relaxed,even if she did get a little ruff. She had me turn over and as she massaged my breast said nice shape I was in and how firm my body was. She said I was tight in areas and that this full body message would relax me. She kept asking that I wanted a full message as she worked on my legs she asked again, then as she did my feet and toes, wow!!! She knew what she was doing, and continued as I started moaning with delight till the point I was getting aroused. She looked at my crotch,noticed I was wet and said I see your relaxing now , you like full message? Not really sure what to say,I wasnt expecting this, but it felt so great. As she continued on each leg, she kept asking if I liked the way she did the message, that I wanted full message like this. Then came the answer to way she kept asking about if I wanted a full massage. As she did my hip and inner thighs her hand rubbed would rub between my legs, I give you full massage, after you will be fully relaxed, its good? She had me to the point I had to say yes! Needless to say what happened, after I was fully relaxed. After I laid there for 10 min. she gently woke me up and took me to an other room where she did a great body wrap, then to shower it off. She had a sponge and soft brush and proceded to wash me off. Ive had many wraps but never washed off and dried. I did feel a little uncomfortable. She took me down the hall to the next room with out anything on, saying its ok, no one is over here. The next tech. for hair removal came in, its a guy, here Im sitting on the table naked. I asked for a female and he said she called in sick, that they could make another appointment if I want. I have a wedding to be in 2 days, well he is well quallified. I let him procead, yes he was very good. Didnt like his comments on how it looks much nicer with hair removed. Yes its the first time I ever was taken care of like this, but I have to say it was the best I ever felt. At paying they asked how I liked it, the massage tech. came and said that I liked it very much, to give a real good tip and next time she will do something special. I already paid a lot, so thought to give 10% about $40, they got mad and said for all she did thats all? Hey I paid the price they asked, I didnt ask or expect the extras, I lifted up my skirt ( no panties} and said you wont see this p##@y again to thir shock and I walked out. more

This place operates in unethical ways. They oversell like a timeshare sales pitch, then get you to quickly sign. Then, even when it is very apparent the procedures are excessive (and even damaging as they have been for my daughter's fair skin), the mgr Tina promises a partial credit but then does not follow thru with ""corporate"" to make it happen. I was sent to a nonresponse ""customer service mgr"" at corporate named Geraldo who has never gotten back to me. This is ridululous! Avoid them! more

I should have run when I got a bad vibe from the consultant who I totally agree was just like a used car salesman. I wanted to look perfect for my wedding though so I paid for 6 AREAS to have the vaser lipo done on (when I originally only thought I needed 2, but got convinced of doing more) and I also bought a package of 5 photodynamic sessions for my face. I ended up spending over $16,000 for everything. Not only did I see NO results from the vaser lipo (I still look like my ""before"" shot) but I was actuually accused of GAINING weight!! What woman in her right mind ever wants to hear that!? Oh and this was told to me 2 WEEKS before my wedding!! And I never got an apology either. The photodynamic is another train wreck. I only did one photodynamic session, (I saw no results) and the next THREE times I went in for my appt I was told AFTER I was already there that they did not have the levulan face gel and they could not perform the procedure. This was incredibly frustrating bc the weather was bad and it was a pain for me to get to the city from Hoboken not to mention their scheduling SUCKS and it is SO hard to nail down an appt with them. Since I did not have much time I went to see a derm who put me on an awesome skin care regimin and told me not to continue with the pd sessions. I told Tina the mgr this and she said if I came in with a note from my derm I would be fully refunded within 6-8 weeks. WELL it has now been Over 2 months since I brought in the note and STILL no refund. I tried calling customer service and all you get EVERY time is an answering machine. I left messages, wrote an email and still have not received any feedback from them. My next call will be to my credit card company to reverse the charges for FRAUD. I would not be surprised to see this company go under. Not only are they way overpriced, but they are unprofessional and they have NO customer service. I am seeking a reimbursement for all of the services I bought from sleek. I am SO unsatisfied. It is disgusting that they think their procedures work. All I am left with are ugly visible scars all over my body and lumps and bumps on places there never were lumps and bumps before. Not to mention being out $16,000. Not only do I NOT recommend sleek, but I am actively trying to seek retribution for their services. more

I have been having many problems with the NYC Sleek location. They dont return phone calls or confirm appointments. I have called again today to ask about my next appointment (the first call went unanswered). In addition, the woman that I did my consultation with was rude. I had to ask her about packages, none were presented to me. Lastly, when I filled out my patient information sheet I was given another patients information sheet with ALL their identifying information on it (This is a major violation of HIPPA). The consultation woman gave me a new form and simply laid the other patients information on a desk in full view of whoever was having their consultation at the present time. I am very very disappointed with the service received at SLEEK NYC and unfortunately will not be able to recommend, at least the NYC location, to friends. On another note the technicians are AMAZING. The two I have seen thus far are courteous, knowledgeable, and seem to really care about the client. If you can help me at the very least get in touch with the venue to compete my service package (2 more sessions) that would be great. Thank you for your time. more

So I made an appointment for the free consultation on a liposuction procedure after I saw their ad for 40% off. I arrived 15 mins late..due to midtown traffic. Anyhow while sitting in the waiting room, I checked my email and there was an email from them sent 10 mins after my appointment time telling me to call and reschedule, I guess they dont want you to be late but hey traffic happens. So I met with one of their consultant, first impression not friendly at all, not even a smile. She seemed very cold and uninterested. Then she told me she has other people to see after me so we have to get started. What? I felt a certain way about that statement. As if I wasnt important and we should hurry because she had other appointments. As I recall there wasnt anybody else in the waiting room. So I proceeded to tell her what I wanted and she went to give me prices for the procedure. She didnt explain anything about the procedure, all I heard was the price and how I would have to hurry to make a decision because the special ends in a week and i would have to leave a $500 deposit to lock in the price. I hated feeling like I didnt have time to think it over. In my opinion a consultation should be an information session about the procedure. I did not get any info only a price. So I told her that I would get back to her, she said I have until monday, I went in on a thursday. Even before I left the office I knew I was not going to do my procedure there. So after a few other consults with doctors I found sleek to be very overpriced even though they were offering a discount. I found a great doctor who did my procedure on 3 areas for $1200 less without a discount, than what sleek was offering me to do on 2 areas( Upper and lower abdomen $5600). So overpriced. So my advice is to shop around for good doctors that care about what you want and not pushy consultants who want to make a sale and overcharge you. more

My girlfriends mother recently got work done here. In May, Saturday the 14th she had to go back in to have stitches removed. She's in her mid 60's and they rushed her through removing her stitches and caused her great pain. The doctor even had his jacket on as if where he had to be that day was more important. This was followed by not one doctor or nurse asking if she was okay. I went with her on her second visit today and made sure that didn't happen again. Only when I got there with her did they show her any concern or respect. It shouldn't have to come down to and old woman needing a ""body guard"" just to get proper care from these so called doctors. more

I purchased a package of Laser Hair Removal for my face, and it was seriously the best thing i've ever done. I will say that I had to shave my face which at first I was scared to do, but I am on my 5th treatment now and my hair is barely there and my skin has cleared up as well. The esthetician, Ilisa, was very informative and thorough. I will say It is very hard to get an appt. but silvie and christina at the front are super nice and always accommodate my busy schedule. I was just talking to them about doing more areas and I'm going to highly consider it once I save more money... It is costly but definitely worth it! more

I went to Sleek a few months ago for a consultation, I was interested in loosing the fat on my stomach and I wanted to see what they could do for the lines on my face. I am only 40 but I feel everything is sagging a bit. I met with Dr. Singer and her was very nice. He said we could do Vaser lipo on my stomach and then take the fat and inject it into my face. I decided to have it done and it was wonderful. My stomach is flat and my face looks fabulous!!. I feel and look like I am 30. Adding some fat to my face made such a big difference even my skin looks better. Dr, Singer and the team at Sleek Are the best!!! more
