slater marinoff is a good place to look at if you're into modern furniture design. the staff is helpful, and if you don't see exactly what you want on the floor, ask and it may be something they can order for you. but their stuff is a bit pricey, and they have sales every so often, so you may want to try to wait for a sale. more
