Fun, but pricey! 4/16/2006

Six Flags Over Georgia has been making improvements over the last few years. They have been adding 1 major coaster every year. There are rides for people of all ages. They even have rides for people who don't like roller coasters. In recent years the prices have gone up, but you can find many discount coupons at local businesses, or on Coke cans. more

Expensive, but fun! 4/12/2006

Six Flags Over Georgia is a great amusement park with thrilling rides and experiences. The tickets are a little costly and the food is very pricey but it is worth the cost for the fun rides. The best roller coaster is Superman where you ride parallel to the ground. Other great rides include Batman, The Mindbender, and Deja Vu. Expect to do a lot of walking and spend a good deal of money for lunch but you'll still have a great time. more

Fun for the really little kids 4/10/2006

American Adventures is an amusement park made just for those little tykes. I would not take kids much older than nine or ten to American Adventures because they will be really bored or feel out of place. American Adventures has many of the same rides that you would find in the kid sections and regular sections of other amusement parks but they are scaled down and made little kid size. Fun way to spend the day if you have little kids! They will love it. more

Good, not great. 1/7/2006

This place had started to really let itself go, but they've improved a lot with the newer rides (such as the Superman roller coaster, which is a great ride). I can see where the locals would bore of it easily, but for someone like me who only goes a few times every couple of years, it's decent. Be prepared to stand in long lines, shell out more than a few bucks for lunch, and be around screaming kids. If that doesn't bother you, then this is a good place to go. more

Six Flags Over Georgia 10/24/2005

In my opinion, I think Six Flags Over Georgia is the biggest amusement park in Georgia. However, this amusement park can not compete with the six flag in Los Angeles, CA. The kids and teenagers would love to go there during Summer time. They have a great activity for some special event such as Halloween day. more

Amusing Park 10/14/2005

My children beg to go to this park every summer. As a local resident, it gets old due to all of the out-of-towners. But, parking is ample, the park is well-maintained, and there seems to be a new ride every year. FrightFest is the high point of the year. During the month of October, the park becomes a Haunted Amusement park. It's a blast, and a great way to close the season. more

great for the family! 9/19/2005

this is a very family friendly place. be prepared to walk and spend lost of money! the drinks and food are high priced so you might wanna bring your own to save money! it's always fun around theme times like fright night! everything is ready for Halloween! that is about the best time to go if you ask me! the temp has dropped and it's not so hot out! also bring a change of clothes if you will be riding the water rides! more

Great if you go on a day where it is not crowded 8/20/2005

Great if you go on a day where it is not crowded. It has tons of great rides but the crowds and line wait times are sometimes too much to bear. If you find a good day where the lines are small you are in luck for a full day of rides. Check out Coke cans for discount coupons. They might save you some bucks. more

American Adventure 8/20/2005

The kids love this place. They have great games and fun outside attractions. They have rides for the young and some for teenager. They even have a roller coaster. They have great snacks and drinks around the park. They have putt putt golf if you like that and a go cart. The kids love the factory. You run around and have great fun. There's a place to eat but the kids mention that's it not that great. Great fun for the kids as well as for the adults. more

Progress had benefited this park 8/19/2005

Been visiting this park every now and then for the past 15 years and it has grown more and more. Maybe if I lived in atlanta, it would be boring but since I only experience the results of 2-3yrs of additions it seems new to me. The park now has "superman" the ride, which is a unique positioned ride that has had reviews on the travel channel. Numerous rollercoasters are at this park and shade and cool zones are no problem. Parking isn't free as usual but you can park at one of the local area hotels and walk over for almost half the price plus the MARTA system will connect you to the park by bus. Don't get caught up in lines on slow days though. We once waited out a ride for an hour on a slow day just to find that it really wasn't all that great. Everyone just saw a long line and figured that it must be fun. You won't regret this park. more

Fun for the Little Guys/Gals 8/18/2005

American adventures is an amusement park that is scaled down for small kids. There are small versions of the fun rides you see at other parks including a version of the tilt-a-whirl, roller coaster, teacups, swinging pirate ship and a giant slide. My kids love it there. What I love about it is that unlike most amusement parks, it is set under trees, and most of the park is shady. It's really a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. more

Six Flags 8/16/2005

Six Flags over Georgia is a great way to spend a day with the family. It has stuff for everyone, from the little ones to the thrill seekers. It was the park to debut one of my favorite rollercoasters, Superman: Ultimate Flight. It is the first rollercoaster where the passenger lies down in a flying position, which makes for one great ride. more

Alright way to spend a day 8/7/2005

I will start off by saying I was brought up visiting Cedar Point in Ohio which is arguably the best Amusement park in the world. As such, Six Flags seemed like it was 'trying' to be a real park but just didn't have the roller coasters to back it up. :) However, Six Flags does have some great areas for kids with the Bugs Bunny/Superman characters which they enjoy. It also has some nice summer concerts which are fun to attend with a group of friends. more

Super fun theme park 7/5/2005

This will be a fun day for the whole family. Their is a little something for everyone. Games, Shows, rides, food, and ots of other entertainment. You can also pack a lunch and eat at one of many picnic tables. You can purchase season tickets if you go often, otherwise the can be pricey. That goes for the food too. Local supermarkets can help with coupons and special offers. Also coke products can do the same thing! more

Fun Fun Fun 7/2/2005

If you want to have a great day with your family and have quality fun you have got to go to six flags. It is a little expensive, but you can always save money with discount tickets from Publix or a coke can or by buying a season pass. You can also pack a picnic lunch and eat outside at one of the many picnic tables offered to you by the Chattahoochee river. There lots to do and an area offered for smaller children. Theres a little something for every age! more

Six Flags Get's 3 Stars 6/23/2005

Now if you're a kid, this is probably the closest thing to heaven you'll ever see, yet for the adults that have to chaperone the kids this is hardly anyone's idea of fun. With the long lines, the headbanging rides, the unkempt restrooms, steep costs for EVERYTHING, the last place a sensible adult wants to be is at Six Flags, especially during the summer. The heat alone is unbearable, but the resultant B.O. is worse. I went this past May, waited around for hours, got on 3 rides and left. I guess I am not kid anymore. more
