Excellent 8/8/2011

I was in the market for a new pair of glasses. My first stop was Lens Crafters because they were the ones that i received a coupon for in the mail. When i walked into the store there was no one there to help me. After looking around for a bit i decided there was nothing in the store that i wanted. Then I went to Eye Definition in the mall. They were no help either. Just when i was about to give up I spotted Site For Sore Eyes! Now let me tell you about this place. I was greeted as soon as i walked in. A short bald headed guy approached me right away. He told me about there special and guided me to some designer frames. They had D & G, Fendi, and other designer frames. He also told me that I get a second pair free. The store is very neat, clean, and very well organized. The customer service was excellent and I definitely recommend this place to anyone. I usually don't go out of my way for stores but it was a pleasant experience compared to other places i have visited in the past. more

Good deal 8/4/2011

I'm surprised at all the 1 star reviews! I've bought a total of 3 or 4 pairs of glasses from here and had a good experience each time. More recently, I just bought 2 pairs of new frames I was in dire need of. Right now, they have a ""sale"" or promotion going on. Whatever you wanna call it. You get the first pair for $100 off, and the 2nd pair free. The first pair cost me $399 minus $100 plus the lenses. Basically, I paid around $500 for 2 pairs of glasses. Yeah they're expensive, but how often do you buy frames anyway. My last pair lasted me about 3 years I think. more

Very fair deal 7/29/2011

I really have to take issue with the woman who raked this place over the coals. I have been going there for years and found this one of the friendliest and most affordable places around. I'm sorry if you think 100-300 for just the frames is a lot then you really haven't looked around much for custom glasses. That is on the inexpensive side. They don't have a huge selection of high end stuff but they go out of their way to help you find something that works and they kept reminding me that they won't be insulted at all if they didn't have what I wanted. My eye exam with a very good eye guy was only $49 and that was applied to my purchase. I got a new pair of high end frames and the best progressive lens plus they redid the progressive lens for my sunglasses and with the full exam it came to $525. For the quality I got I thought it a very fair deal. Ray is the owner and from my personal experience he is a really nice guy and there to help. Yes they are in business and do want you to buy stuff, but even though they are not the closest I keep going back. So I recommend. more
