Simi's Bazaar

i've been to simi's bazaar a few times before. it is located on the first block of west portal next to the music store and bursaa kabob. The clothing that the owner has in the store are very nice and elegant, however, they are very pricey. I did buy a shirt from this store once for my mother for christmas a little while ago, and when i went shopping in Nordstroms the next day, i saw the exact same shirt there for a cheaper price. The lady there was very nice, and she helped me and answered any questions I may have had. I don't know if I wold recommend this store to everyone I know, but, this store does carry elegant clothing, however, the prices are a little pricey. more

I went into Simi's Bazaar with my friend once. The store is located on the first block of West Portal, and the parking is not so bad. The clothing in this store is pretty, however, it is pretty pricey. Some of the clothing located in this shop is also sold at other stores, like Macys and even Nordstrom, for a cheaper price. The store does also sell jewlery and other accesories. The store does have some nice clothing and accesories, but, the prices are a little high. I would recommend checking other stores like Macys and Nordstrom to see if they have the same piece of clothing before buying it from here because I did that and I did find a shirt that I found at Simi's for a cheaper price. more

One of my good friends recommended me to this clothing store on West Portal. SInce I liked the location, I decided to go and see if I could find some nice clothing. When I first walked into the store, I was nicely greeted and felt a greate customer service vibe. As I was looking around, I was constantly asked if i needed some help, and when I told Simi that I was ok, she continued to press me about the issue. I felt as though she thought I would steal something. Also, the one thing that I noticed was that I had most of the clothing in other stores, such as Nordstrom and Macys for a VERY cheaper price. The clothing was still elegant, however, I felt they were EXTREMELY pricey. I don't think that I would ever recommend this store to a friend because the clothing could be found at another store for a lot less and some of her jewlery is tacky. more

This is not a store that I enjoyed visiting. Everything is so disorganized once you eneter the store. And some of the merchandise is not priced. The owner of the store, Simi, also is very gossipy. I do understand her native tongue so I heard her talk really badly about how stupid and gulliable some of the customers are. And she overcharges certain people on items because they are not tagged. Awful place to viist. Her clothing line is also very old fashioned. They look like the clothes that you get in bulk and then sell them for triple. Not good at all. more

Simi's is a small bouique located on the first block of West Portal. It is owned By Simi who is there most of the time. She is not one of the nicest people. Her staff members are actually more helpful. The store is very disorganized and very pricey. There are some cute things that maybe you could buy if the prices were not so outrageous. Alot of her accessories are pretty tacky and cheesy. the store looks like a knock of a typical "Gift Center" store. Not a good shopping Experience. more
