I've lived in California for about a year but I had a heart attack when I first got here and just haven't had the time or money to invest in a pricey cut and color, but I decided to treat myself for Easter weekend. My mistake was picking Silver Cuts, which was no treat.\r
You can't do more than go in prior to your appointment time to discuss your cut and color, which I did. I also discussed it on the phone with him. I should have noticed his angry additude but I always give people the benefit of the doubt.\r
When I got to Silver Cuts today, the owner, Willy, did nothing but argue with me and he refused to do what we had agreed upon, a fairly simple color and highlight procedure. I begged him and offered him more money but nothing helped. He didn't mind getting loud with me either.\r
What a waste of time and energy this was. He had at least 2 opportunities to tell me he wasn't comfortable doing caucasian hair, I don't know why he waited until the last minute. I gave him ample opportunity, even calling before I left the house today. \r
I'm spending my first Easter weekend in California with a hat on my head and not by choice. I was really looking forward to having nice hair again. This was just a waste of time, energy and gas. Avoid.
