I've given this a lot of consideration and I'm going to go out on a limb and say THIS IS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN LA!! Listen: the food is delicious, the service speedy, the valet is free, so is the dessert, the beer is frosty and fantastic, the value is unbeatable. Ignore the bad lighting and lack of ambience, SI GOL ROCKS. I eat here at least once a week and wish I could get there more often. Pros: great value, great food, free dessert more

great side dishes 2/15/2003

This place has excellent Korean food. The soybean paste tastes homemade. The side dishes that augment the barbeque selections are varied and tasty. Ambience is very informal but service is excellent. Cons: Parking more

GREAT LUNCH DEAL 12/25/2002

For a great value (especially for lunch), head over to the si-gol restaurant. Most people will miss it because the sign only has Korean letters on it, So look out for the ""Thai BBQ"" sign and you'll know your at the right place (located next door to the Thai BBQ). With an assortment of Marinated BBQ meats and plenty of side dishes to boot (included in the price), prepare youself for a great taste experience. You definetly will not go hungry. After your meal, treat yourself to the complimentary self-serve ice cream and coffee bar located by the entrance. Casual Dining, authentic korean bbq, and a good value.
