Blue-collar seafood at it?s finest. The fried seafood combo platter was out of this world. Four shrimp, four oysters, two crab balls, and a honking filet of fish all faultlessly breaded and fried. Served up with lemons, cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, malt vinegar, ketchup, and/or hot sauce, a man comes away happy from this get-up. Dine inside in the A/C or al fresco on the patio. never went back 7/20/2009

I have been there only once but since the food was not good I never went back. I do know numerous people that think the food is really good but I am not willing to give it a second chance when we have such good food on the island. more

Best Shrimp 11/14/2008

If you don't like the crowed chain resteraunts go here. I haven't been here in several years, but the atmosphere was relaxed with fast service. Great prices! more

Average seafood 11/19/2007

I had high expectations, as I'd heard good things. I love seafood and was ready for a great hole-in-the-wall. The location wasn't bad, fairly central for Galveston. The atmosphere was promising, with people lined up at the order window. Pros: Crab was good, fairly quick, decent value, friendly staff Cons: All other fried items more

One word...Yum! 7/27/2005

I went to this restaurant after asking one of the workers at the tourist center to tell me where the locals eat. I wasn't so sure about this place, but I was pleasantly suprised. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed. The famous poboys are really good, but I wish they offered one with crawfish. It was a very affordable and huge meal! My order was wrong, but they were more than willing to fix it and they did it very quickly. My boyfriend ate his first poboy ever and fell in love! We will be going back everytime we go to Galveston. more

was i suprised of the quality and good tasting food @ this joint. if you want the feel of old time galveston and cheap eats, go here. there were five of us and the food came out in a timely manner. i could not eat all that was on my plate..mainly because i was trying everyone elses! but this place isnt classy or anything, so get ready to come in from fishing all day. ...and they had an old school table style pacman machine! Family owned-no chain here 8/13/2002

The family that owns and operates Shrimp & Stuff are compltelly dedicated to their guest. If something is wrong it will be corrected ASAP or your next meal is FREE. Customer service is what it is all about. Even though Shrimp & Stuff caters to alot of tourist, they know the Islanders and appreciate our continued support especially in the off-season. We have had them cater our last 2 Christmas parties and the food as well as the service was perfect. Great place for all ages. Indoor and outdoor dinning available more
