Great outdoor music venue 8/21/2005

Shoreline is one of the better amphitheaters I've been to. It's a great place to see music. If you really like the band, I'd recommend reserved seating to insure a good view. Otherwise, the lawn is a fun place to hang out and enjoy music outside. If you do get lawn seats, be sure to bring a blanket and get there early to get a good seat. Getting there can be a bit of a hassle with the traffic and parking, which is another reason to get there early. more

great music 8/20/2005

The Shoreline Amphitheatre At Mountain View is a great place for concerts. I have taken my friends and family to many events here. All the big stars put on shows here. During the fourth of july celebration, they play symphony music while fireworks are going off overhead. This place is right off of route 101. more

Too big, bad crowds 8/17/2005

I have yet to have a positive concert at the Shoreline Ampitheatre, although none have been terrible. My main complaint about the venue is that it is simply too large. The large carrying capacity causes concerts to feel less than intimate. The positive is that the large capacity attracts many popular bands. While I would not list Shoreline Ampitheatre as one of my favorite venues, it is definitely not one of the worse. more
