ok, being of russian , jewish origin i can write this without bias, i was at this particular store a while back , i was in line behind a russian gentleman, he placed his groceries on the coveyour belt and handed the cashier has food stamps card, ok, if someone needs assistance and is down on their luck i understand needing the food stamps, this guy was more than able to earn a days wage working, food stamps are for people who need it, anyway this guy bought items that are not covered by the stamp program, and was politely told so by the cashier, you should of heard this bums mouth yelling and raising a fuss, ( now this next part is gonna piss of all the red blooded americans out there} he pulls out a @#?!!@ wad of money like a g -d gas station attendant! the govenment gives all these immigrants a 7 year tax break and free food and medical assistance! i'm busting my hump everyday and this euro trash is treated like royalty! go home, we dont want you in our country! go back and fix your own! stop bitching and turning my country into a toilet like your own! that goes for all you free loading immigrants and minorities leaching off the system! get a damn job! if you cant find one stop having 15 kids making me pay for it! tell your babby daddy to start acting like a real man and pull his weight! you know who i'm talking about! damn i hate you! p.s , this particular shoprite has a great seafood area! god bless america! mike more

I am a foreigner so I don't speak good English. When checking out, cashiers were rude to me and my husband. Thinking that we don't understand English they would look at each other and throw some rude comments about us and laugh. They also hate people with WIC checks there. They kept sending us back to isle to chose this or that product. \r If they want more customers they have to fire most of the cashiers and managers there. Will never go back there. This family owned Shop Rite is a neighborhood business committed to serving their customers and their neighborhood. Although all of the Shop Rite stores I have visited are clean, bright & modern, the owners and management at this store seem to go that extra mile! Customers are what they are and every store will have their share of ignorent ones. We can't change them, so let's just deal with them, management must. On a recent visit, prior to a snow storm, 16 check-outs of 17 were OPEN. That is customer service! And speaking of customer service, I would like to thank Mike Castello for being on the front end and welcoming his customers. Try to find this at a typical chain nstore. The customers are so rude and obnoxious, that it makes for an unpleasant shopping experience. I've seen people just fly in to other people with their cart and not say sorry. It's like shopping in another world when you enter this store. Most of the cashiers are nice though but some of the management is horrible also. And they constantly need a key for everything and then it takes forever for someone to come over and they bring their attitude with them. The one girl just threw the change in my face but thankfully the cashier was kind enough to thank me for shopping at the store. I try to steer clear of this store.
