the food are great , a large slection of sea food 10/22/2007

The whole hotel was very luxurious and the decor was tasteful. The rooms were immaculate and the elevators fast. There was no view, and the rooms were still very small. I felt claustrophobic so I was out most of the time. I eat in the hotel and the restaurants are very nice , the food are great , a large slection of sea food , everything over this place is wonderful , i wil get only over there the next time I need a place to stay . What all the waiters did was hand out so much bottled water I didn't buy any while I was in New York City. Each day they had hors d'ouevres that tasted like they were precooked, and there was a bar where you could order (not free) alcoholic drinks. There was free Starbucks coffee and Tazo tea along with internet access. more

The Club Receptions were a mess 1/28/2006

First off, let me say that I was on the Club floor. I did not enjoy that one bit. The receptions were a mess. Some waiters were very nice, others forgot about me. The other guests were like pigs at the china shop; when shrimp was put out it went within minutes. Same thing with donuts. (only one computer but hey it was free!) The whole hotel was very luxurious and the decor was tasteful. The rooms were immaculate and the elevators fast. There was no view, and the rooms were still very small. I felt claustrophobic so I was out most of the time. I didn't eat in the hotel, but the restaurants did seem nice. more

Great Reward for starwood members 8/13/2005

ok guys, u have star wood point, you sleep a lot at Sheraton, so this is the hotel of reward in new York. the upgrade you will get here is much better then the other star wood hotels in the new York area. you will be upgraded to the 16 flour or so, with a great view over the city. the room size is amazing. you would not believe hotels in the city have so much space. it made of big big leaving room, small kitchenette, and cozy bed room. the stuff is lovly and as you step out, you are in times square. i guess this is a good selection if you have VIP status as a star wood member. more

Sheraton Hotel and Towers 8/5/2005

This hotel is quite luxurious. A lot of celebrities stay here and they hold parties here for the Daytime Emmys every year. There are two bars in the lobby to unwind and have a drink. The staff is very polite. The concierge handles your bags and will let you know (most of the time) if any big events are going on at the time. The beds in the rooms are extremely comfortable, like sleeping on clouds. You get a hair dryer and iron, all the essentials. The thing is you have to pay quite expensively for all these perks. I'm not sure how the room service is because I have never tried it, but it looks very expensive. So, as with all hotels, it's probably better to eat out unless you are really lazy and have the money to burn. And the room was really clean, nearly spotless. The view wasn't that great, but what can you expect for a Manhattan hotel? more
