She Etc. International Day Spa

I just returned from She Etc. and am still floating from the amazing day I had. I began my day with a massage with KC who literally has the hands of an angel! It was the best massage I have ever had in my life. I then moved upstairs for my mani/pedi and was very pleased with the results. My facial was with Sandy and the first thing my husband said when I got home was "wow...you look great!" My skin is glowing, and I am feel more educated about how to take care of it. Sandy is a sweetheart who really cares about your comfort level and makes sure you are having a relaxin, enjoyable time. She really knows how to run a good business! Their staff was amazing and accomodating as well. (Not to mention the yummy Mimosa you are offered when you arrive!) I highly recommed this Spa and will be returning very soon! Pros: Great services. I had a recent Dead Sea Salt Glow treatment with Julie. I have never had a more relaxing and refreshing treatment. Not only was my summer skin completely exfoliated, but it also had a detoxifying effect. It was followed by a warm shower with their new signature bath products and a wonderful massage. I can't wait to get back there and see Julie and the rest of the wonderful staff. Pros: The staff and atmosphere Cons: None more

I went into She for a pedicure with Mary. It was an absolutely wonderful pedicure!!!!. While I was relaxing in the nail room, I observed other women getting a foot Detox treatment. It was so intriguing to me that I decided to try it for myself. Well I can honestly say that I felt and slept better than I have in a long time!! The detox paperwork tells you what type of toxins are coming out of your body while you are getting your treatment. I am HOOKED on both the pedicures and the detox! I will be back in soon!!!! This was our first time at She-Etc. From the time we parked to the time we left, it was a great experience. My husband was a little hesitant to get a couple's massage since his last massage at a different location was not the best. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with very friendly service. We felt very comfortable from the very beginning. For the couple's massage, they took us to a little cottage in the back of the main house. As soon as you walk in to the cottage, you know you are in for a great experience. The place was very cozy, warming, decorated beautiful, candles lit all over, fireplace, music that you can just close your eyes and go to la la land. It was so nice that my husband even said, "wow." We had our private restroom and then our one hour couple's massage began. My husband and I both agree that we had an awesome massage. The ladies were very friendly. After, we had a little snack that included fruit, crackers cheese and our choice of a drink. My husband had tea and I had a glass of wine. Another thing I liked that we were not rushed out once we were done. They let us take our time. This experience changed my husband's mindset about massages. He said that he can see us coming again to She-Etc and believe me, I am 100% supportive on that idea!!! Pros: Very Friendly Service; Downtown Georgetown; Cons: Can't think of any - good thing more

I just visited She Etc. this weekend for a a day of pampering since I entered my 9 month of pregnancy. I got a maternity massage and it rocked. I got to lay on my belly with a special pillow and it was HEAVENLY!!!! I could have seriously stayed there all day long on the massage table. Sharon, the MT, was wonderful and I will so be back to see her. After our treatments we had a very yummy and relaxing spa lunch. If you are ever in Georgetown you have to check out She Etc. This Day Spa is awesome and I will so be a repeat customer. Sandra, the owner, is a hoot and you will just love her and her awesome staff!!! Thanks again for the awesome day!!! A friend of mine and I have now attended our 2nd Girlfriend's Night Out event at She, Etc. We had a blast both times. There were lots of vendors, wine, mimosas, food, music...just a wonderful time. We scheduled side-by-side pedicures and were thrilled with the service we were given. The ladies were a little shocked that I wanted black polish on my toenails with white polka dots, but after the polish was on, everyone was raving about it. We were waited on hand and foot. Next time, we're going to try the detox, as we've heard so many wonderful things about it. I cant wait to discover more NEAT services that they offer and take advantage of them. Thanks to y'all...my friend and I have found a wonderful place to get together. We'll be back...and probably BEFORE the next PARTY y'all throw. Thanks again, we enjoyed it! If you are looking for a romantic thing to do for your loved one, book a couple's massage at She Etc. The couple's massage is held in the little cottage in the back. The cottage is decorated so beautiful inside-it is warm and cozy and they have a fire in the fireplace for you. I recommend getting the light lunch that they will order for you (cheeses, grapes, salad, and wine) before the massage and eat in the lovely garden. You can truly make the experience last for majority of the day. We had such a wonderful time during our visit and can't wait to go back to do it again at She Etc. My friend and I have been talking about getting healthy once again, you know the normal chit chat among girls, and I recommended us going to SHE, etc. to use the Aqua Detox. My mother and I used it about a year ago and was amazed about the results. So we made an appointment and met there, it was great, as soon as we walked in they offered us some water and took us straight away to the machines. We had a lovely conversation about life and the water colors. It was great spending time with her in such a relaxing area. The owner even showed us around, and offered us some tips and information. LOVE IT!!! We will be back next month, with friends!!! Pros: The Service!! more

I had my first facial done at She Etc. earlier this week. All I can say is WOW! I normaly do not like to have my face touched by other people, so I was a bit nervous. Jill did a wonderful job. I had been to SHE, etc about year ago and had a facial done, it was not the greatest. I have had facials done all over the world and this was one of the worst. For the price it was unenjoyable and unprofessional. For Chritmas I recieved a gift certificate for SHE, etc. and decided to give it another chance. I wasn't scheduled with the same facialist, and was blown away by my service. It was definitly one of the best facials I've had! She was very knowledgeable about products and skin care. I was so happy that I came back and had a wonderful experience, because the historical home is very theraputic. I'm looking forward to another facial! more

I went in there totally stressed out, and found that I didn't want to leave! After a wonderful one hour facial, where everything was just perfect, followed by a one hour massage (again, perfect) , I was invited to sit down to a glass of wine and a plate of cheese and fruit. This was accompanied by an engaging conversation with the owner, Sandy. Couple this with the fact that the setting is a beautiful old home filled with original artwork and it just couldn't get any better. Clinical and "uppity" it is not, classy and personal it is! Also, although there were wonderfully displayed products everywere, I wasn't asked to purchase anything. I was given a few samples that Sandy thought I would like and that was it. I've had plenty of massages and a few facials, and I would (and do) recommend this to all my friends and plan to give a visit as a gift. I have been to She Etc. many times for different services. I've had pedicure, tanning, facials, cupping services and massages there and every single service has been the ultimate in luxury! Sandy and her staff treated me like family and waited on me hand and foot. I was pampered and each and every treatment I received was top-notch! The grounds and building itself are charming and relaxing. A great place to have a girlfriend day. I've been to spas all over the country and She Etc is by far my favorite! Thanks girls more

I recently had a birthday on Sept. 14, and Diane Walker gave me a facial. It was relaxing and wonderful. Everybody in the spa welcomed me in, and was very nice. Me and my husband also had a detox. I recently visited this spa for a pedicure. It was very disappointing. I was very embarrased for another client that came in for a bikini wax. She was taken behind a screen right beside me getting my pedicure. No privacy at all. I could see and hear everything that was going on behind that screen. And my pedicure was simply awful. Cold water and a so-called mask on my feet that was nothing but colored water. The "throne" they have built is very hard to get in and out of and the nail tech never offered to assist me up or down the stairs. To top it off, my polish chipped within a week. I have been to She Etc. three times in the past week to try the new ISCULPT machine. I initially went in for the machine to improve body appearance and tighten muscles. I was SHOCKED to see that what it accomplished right out of the gate was much reduced neck and back pain (where all those pesky knots are) and helped me sleep better. The machine definitely improves circulation and getting those knots broken up! While it is too soon to expect to see improved muscle tone, it is helping pain! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing! more
