Poor customer service, immature sales associates, and poor quality jewelry!!\r \r I purchased a platinum wedding band and it warped/bent after 1 month of wearing it. I took it to Cronin's in Boulder for a second opinion and they think the Shane Co. removed too much platinum when it was resized. Poor craftsmanship! My first visit to the Shane Co. to get the ring repaired ended up with an associate, Ron Hart, telling me it's normal for platinum to bend because it's a malleable metal. I could pay them extra money to add more platinum and round out the ring. A $1000 ring, no matter the metal, should not bend after wearing it for a month. \r \r I went to Shane Co. again to try and get a refund, new ring, or at the very least a repair after I received a second opinion on the poor quality of the ring. My 60 day warranty had expired prior to wearing the ring so I could not exchange for a new one. \r \r While waiting on the sales associate to look into ring repair, two of the sales associates including Ron Hart, were laughing and making snide comments about me right in front of me while I waited. Thankfully and surprisingly I wasn't charged for the repair even though Ron originally told me I had to pay. \r \r It's worth the extra money to buy jewelry from a local, reputable jeweler. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THE SHANE COMPANY!!!!!!!!! more

LOST PRECIOUS SAPPHIRE EARRING. I was devastated when I discovered one side was gone, I'd just bought this set less than a year ago. My husband suggested I go to back to Shane Co in Westminster where we've been customers since 2003 (with purchases ranging from earring studs to my wedding ring), and see what they could do for me. I was prepared to spend $$$ because NO jewelry company would just replace - no questions asked!! Boy was I wrong! I frantically explained my situation and showing the existing stud to a sales rep: JOSH, who immediately tried to calm me down. Then to my surprise, he told me it could be replaced at NO COST! Josh was extremely patient and helpful. He took me to the cashier to give me paperwork and a pick up date then, with a smile, sent me on my way.\r \r Needless to say, I'm very impressed! more

When my husband suggested we go in this store, I didn't even want to go....was I ever wrong. This store had the best customer service I've ever experienced in a jewelry store, maybe, any store. Our saleperson, Josh Vales, was unparalleled. He was so incredibly helpful, patient, funny, calm, informative and above all, not pushy! We just loved working with him and would definitely ask for him by name. Although, the assistant store manager, Jillian Knotts, was also phenomenal so they obviously place great value in customer service. We purchased a beautiful diamond ring at a great price and how can you beat a lifetime warranty on the diamond and on the ring. My husband researched and their warranty was the most comprehensive of all the warranties we looked at, but they don't even charge for it! It comes standard with the ring! How can you beat that? Well, maybe the sixty (60)day money back guarantee! Unheard of! We're super happy with our purchase, but if we weren't, we'd just return it! Can't beat this place. more

Wow! What a great experience. Josh Vales was our consultant and he was fantastic! We had been shopping for a diamond for several weeks and was leaning toward a different store when we went into Shane Co., but Josh was so knowledgeable and patient that he totally won us over. We got a great stone at a great price and best of all, there was no hard sell....in fact, there was no sell at all....just help. After deciding on a ring, the assistant store manager, Jillian Knott, came over to help us. She was also fantastic! Where do they get these people?!? If I had a business, I'd try to hire them away! They were so honest, patient, funny, and fun to deal with. It was a great experience! more

I can't stand shopping, but the employees here made it easy. I knew what I needed, explained it to the employee, and in a short period of time, she showed me their selection. She answered all my questions without hesitation, and without being pushy. I would highly recommened them to anyone looking but jewelery.... Pros: Great service, quality and customer service more

After listening to their ads on the radio time and time again, I decided to visit the Shane Company for a birthday present for my girlfriend. The Shane Company helped me find the perfect stone and fit, while most importantly not pushing me into buying something, like most places. I would recommend the Shane Company to anyone that doesn't like to be pushed into buying something. more
