Wonderful Food, The Best Service, Great atmoshere, and Outstanding Show! 2/15/2007

I recently had dinner with my friend at Cafe Sevilla of Long Beach. The experience was one to remember. We were seating right away 15mins before our reservation time. Once greeted and lead to table by Manager, our server came with a bright smile, and explained the menu and mentioned some of her favorite items. We ordered from the Hot Tapas menu first, Shrimp Croquetas and Grilled Spanish Sausages. Wow! what great flavor with both dishes. Tapas came hot and ready shortly after being seated. For Dinner we order the Meat Paella for two. Again Great!! came to us hot and very flavorable . We went to Cafe Sevilla's on a Saturday night the restaurant was full, But the service was outstanding and we were visited twice by Management ensuring our enjoyment. The experience at Cafe Sevilla's was very enjoyable and we will go again. My friend is telling all his friends what a wonderful time we had and how good the food was at Cafe Sevilla's of Long Beach. I have been to Cafe Sevilla in Long Beach several times. I have seen the Tango Show and the Flaminco Show. The dinner show is a fantastic experience. Not only is the food exceptional the service and the show are just unbelievable. The staff at Cafe Sevilla are first rate. They are truly professionals. The dinner show had dinner included and its a great value for the money. I have also been to Cafe Sevilla for Tapas and drinks and the Tapas are so good and everything was very tasty and the presentation is amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for Tapas and drinks (I love the Sangria) and all the dinner shows. You cannot find anything like this anywhere in Long Beach or the Los Angeles area. Where else can you go and have entertainment and fantastic food for $50.00 or less a person. I take everyone to Cafe Sevilla because I can always be sure the food is consistently excellent and the service is professional. The clubs are great for dancing and they are really fun. My cousin threw a bday party for her boyfriend we had to stand in a long line to get in, So we finally get in she reserved a party for 30 people the club sat out about 6 seats okay fine everyone was not there yet, so more our our guest start to come we ask for more chairs the bouncers bring 4 more seats for us about 30 min. later one of the waitress comes over tell us they have to take 3 of those seats back so were like whaaattt, okay they took the 3 seats we call our waitress over to order more drinks she rolls her eyes has an attitude we left that alone, very rude we think all of this money for the VIP section and this is how you treat us, we still try to have fun. As all of this is going on my cousin pays most of the bill in cash about $600 dollars when it was time to leave she gave the wiatress her credit card they came back and said it had been declined so were like ok thats impossible the money is in there because this is a bank card, the bouncers and waitress just start getting loud and telling the rest of our party that was still in side the club to get up against the wall saying they were trying to leave with out paying the bill one bouncer attacked the bday guy another jumped on one of the guest the club called the police they were out there beating on about 5 of our guest outside the club. The next day the bank was called and there was to much useage of the card so they did a hold for my cousin's protection, so the club owner and bouncers of the club just thought that we were trying to get out of paying a bill, they have very badd customer service waitress need an attitude check and we will never set foot back in this club again good luck with your club. more

I work and live in Long Beach and have been wanting to go to this club for quite some time. I finally got around to it, but little did I know what I was in store for. Here are many reasons why you should stay away from this place: 1) $20 to get in! Not even Vegas charges this much to get in, but I thought Ok, then it has to be THAT good. I didn't have to pay b/c my friends' pass worked, but all of his friends (5 guys) had to fork out $20 each to get in. Ridiculous right? YES! 2) I was there with my b/f and he had to use the bathroom. I waited for him right outside of the bathroom watching everyone on the dance floor. One of the security guards said I had to move up away from the exit. To be a complete j&*k, he said I had to take one more step. I obliged once again and thought he was trying to get under my skin. It didn't end there, everywehre I wanted to just stand and enjoy my drink, I was getting shoved by some security guard. EVery two seconds I had a flash light on me shoving me here and there. 3)Trying to make the best out of it, I buy myself a few drinks. This means many bathroom breaks. I could not believe what i was told to do next. When I needed to use the bathroom, like a 5 year old I was told that I had to leave my drink on a designated table. I obliged again, feeling like i was in kindergarden again. I left my drink on the "designated drink table" , went to the bathroom and what do you know? Someone stole my full beer off of this table! 4) As I was dancing and I couldn't help to look at this group of girls just dancing trying to have a good time.One of their security guards came up to them and asked them to stop dancing how they were dancing. What is this an 8th grade DANce? Give me a break! This is a 21 and over club right? I was completely trashed trying to make up for all the wrongs of this F*&king club, and I was still completely piss*d! I never again will step one foot through the SEVILLA doors and I encourage all of you to do the same. RIDICULOUS! Cons: customer service, everything more

I ate at Sevilla a few weeks ago and LOVED it. The atmosphere was really fun, the food was great. sangria was awesome, and sevice was good too. I couldn't wait to go back! One of the Best Clubs in Down Town Long Beach 12/14/2006

This is one of the best clubs in Down Town Long Beach. And probably the only club with a waiting line becuase it has become one of the most popular clubs that people frequent in their visit to Long Beach. But the waiting period is not that long, the line moves at a good pace. Sometimes, it has gotten held up for a while but thats because of the younger crowd is trying to sneak in. But the security is really thought and doesn't let anyone under age in. I recommend this club to all the Ladies since it's 21 and over you won't have little boys feeling up on you. The music is great, it keeps you moving to its rythm and the crowd is amazing. You can't say you went clubbing to Down Town Long Beach if you don't go to Sevilla's. I can't really say much regarding the cocktail waitresses since I haven't dealt with them much. But the bartenders are good. It took me about an extra minute than usual to get my drink but that was because EVERYONE is trying to get a drink. May I not forget the gogo girls in their cages dancing on top of the bars....amazing. True Hollywood style! And of course after dancing and a couple of drinks you've worked out quite an apetite so theirs the restaurant a step away. Their food is delicious and their service is great. Very polite and helpfull when ordering your food. Their setting is really romantic with dim lights that sets the mood. On the weekends, they have a live band that is a little loud so can't really talk to your friends. But during the week, is quite relaxing and romantic. I highly recommend their salad, it is the best salad I've ever had. Overall, I highly recommend this Night Club and Restaurant to all those who are looking to have a good time! I went to Sevilla on a Friday night to spend some time with my wife. (I work all the time.) We decided to order some food in the resturant. I love Ahi Tuna, so I went for the seared Ahi Tuna salad. I swear this was the best seared Ahi salad I've ever had, very generous with the meat too, and the dressing (I think it was grapefriut) was excellent. Very prompt service with the food too! After enjoying my salad, my wife and I decided to go have some fun up in the club. The line was quite long, but we got in fairly quick (maybe 10 minutes at most.) They had some big guys working the front door. To my suprise they were very friendly, and extremely professional. Once inside, I couldn't believe my eyes. All sorts of moving lights, large dance floor and stage, great DJ, I felt like I was in an upscale club in Hollywood! I never thought I'd see an LA style club in Long Beach. All the bouncers in black siuts, with those clandestine looking earpieces, and good looking cocktail waitresses. Never thought I'd feel safe in Long Beach. lol. I'd say this is the happening spot around here. I will be back soon...... Pros: Food, Service, Staff, Club more

This was the club that I've been wanting to go to for some time. I've seen the long lines so it appears to be a guaranteed awesome club. My friend makes reservations for her birthday but it was a complete disaster. I've never been more disappointed. Club opens up at 10 pm. We didn't make it up there until 11:00 or so due to the long line. Erika's reserved table was double booked and the girl that organized it disappears on her. Guest list sucked, we were lucky to get in because Erika cleared us at the door. We should have been able to say who's guest list we were on, our name, how many guests we brought, and we should have been able to make our way in. Quite a few people in our party were held back and four of them didn't even make it in and took off instead. Bottle service took FOREVER to get there. We got the cranberry juice first and the Grey Goose got there much later. Poor Liz got banged on the head downstairs at the bar and they took forever to give her a blank piece of paper to describe what had happened! I'm really disappointed with this venue. For the $30 and hassle that was involved in getting in (that's IF you got in) I would not recommend it. There wasn't even a true dress code... there was some guy with a baseball cap and tennis shoes in the club... UGH. For that price it should be upscale attire, not ghettofabulous attire. They failed to have small bar tables around the dancefloor so everyone's dancing with a drink in their hand and making a mess of the place. We had tables so we had a place to put our drinks. The club itself is beautiful but the employees talk too much about how it's a new club, it's popular... blah, blah, blah. They're spending too much time up their rears that they can't even run the club well. This place has the worst management EVER and I've been to my share of clubs! I'd go back if they had new management and professional staff. In the defense of the dj the music was varied and catered to everyone's taste. Pros: Beautiful venue.
