In these tough economic times, it would take a lot for me to say a business doesn't deserve to exist but Seva fits the bill perfectly - they truly are the worst in customer service I've experienced in nearly 10 years living in Seattle. The furniture is certainly beautiful, but at those prices (forget the designer discount - they are too stingy to offer anything near market here), you would think there would be a modicum of professional behavior by the store's management. You would be wrong. Highlights of my horrible experience: I needed design help on short notice, went into the store and asked someone to call me to schedule an appointment, and never heard back from anyone. Then I went in and bought two lamps, that happened to be ready for pick up the day after I was to give birth - I asked if they could have someone drop them off for me (I live less than 1 mile away) and they said sure, for a price. These were not cheap lamps. And this was after I had begged and pleaded with them to expedite them so that we wouldn't run into this problem. But my experience pales in comparison to a friend's who bought a LOT of expensive furniture there and had to have several custom pieces redone multiple times because the work was so shoddy - and they gave her a hard time about it each time!
Pros: Nice furniture (all of which is available elsewhere)
Cons: Overpriced and the world's worst customer service
