5 STAR QUALITY AND SERVICE 4/26/2009

It seems to me that the ""reviewers"" from December 14 and 15 are the two SAME people using different handles to bring down a good business, because Seva and not even the Design Center can meet their unreasonable and irrational demands. Whoever these two women are, if they have a business, they are the zero stars. Defamation of a fine business is just shameful. Pros: Personal Attention Cons: Top designs are expensive...what do you expect? more

1 Star is 1 Star Too Many... 12/15/2008

I totally agree with what's been written by the most recent reviewers - it's a shame, because the furniture is pretty and unique, and I normally love to support local, even when I can find something cheaper online. Well at least I can shop online guilt-free! Pros: None come to mind Cons: Too many to list - overpriced, bad customer service, bad shopping vibe, terrible location, etc. more

WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN SEATTLE 12/15/2008

In these tough economic times, it would take a lot for me to say a business doesn't deserve to exist but Seva fits the bill perfectly - they truly are the worst in customer service I've experienced in nearly 10 years living in Seattle. The furniture is certainly beautiful, but at those prices (forget the designer discount - they are too stingy to offer anything near market here), you would think there would be a modicum of professional behavior by the store's management. You would be wrong. Highlights of my horrible experience: I needed design help on short notice, went into the store and asked someone to call me to schedule an appointment, and never heard back from anyone. Then I went in and bought two lamps, that happened to be ready for pick up the day after I was to give birth - I asked if they could have someone drop them off for me (I live less than 1 mile away) and they said sure, for a price. These were not cheap lamps. And this was after I had begged and pleaded with them to expedite them so that we wouldn't run into this problem. But my experience pales in comparison to a friend's who bought a LOT of expensive furniture there and had to have several custom pieces redone multiple times because the work was so shoddy - and they gave her a hard time about it each time! Pros: Nice furniture (all of which is available elsewhere) Cons: Overpriced and the world's worst customer service more

Zero Stars!! Worse experience EVER!!! 12/14/2008

Great at taking your money - terrible providing what was promised. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Does not understand the meaning of customer service. Pros: nothing comes to mind Cons: the management staff more

Worst Customer Service in Town 12/14/2008

Does not even deserve one star. Owner should learn what it means to service his customers. Great news - everything in the store is available online less expensive! Pros: NO PROS Cons: Terrible service - items received damaged more
