My family has been with Dr. Setty office in San Jose for five or six years now. Dr. Setty herself is very sweet and I have never had any problems with any of the work she had done for me. The people in her office have told me that she went back to school to become an Endodontics. Since she is gone the staff in her office had being changing very often and there were some issues with the way front desk have been operated. But all the issues that I brought up to the doctor who worked with me always were addressed in very professional and timely manner. I complained to my new dentist Dr. Manmeet Hothi D.D.S about pain and discomfort with a crown that was put in nine months ago by Dr.N.Roy (who I also like by the way). After Dr. Hothi talked to the office manager Cristina Cuenca, she came back with the response that they shall replace that crown with no charge. The pain is gone.\r Dr. Hothi is always sensitive to my fear of injections and she does it so gentle that I don't always feel the needle. Once when I came for my appointment for a bridge there was a different doctor. Management had changed the doctors' schedule and they did not think to call the clients. (Again this is a front desk or other management problem.) I got upset and walked out of the office. As soon as I came home I received a phone call from Cristina, the office manager, who was very nice and apologetic. She said that they would accommodate any convenient time for me with Dr. Hothi.\r They also have two new assistants Abby and Russell. They both are very friendly, attentive and seem know their field. Abby is always finds time to answer any questions and Russell has gentle sense of humor. In all my years going to Setty Dental, these are the best nurses who have been there.\r I have read all the negative reviews and I don't have those feelings about Setty Dental. There were times when they were running late and I had to wait, but they were plenty of times when they were on schedule. They accept my HMO plan, and their prices are somewhat less than my previous dentist. I would give to the Dr.Hothi alone five stars, and to Abby and Russell also five stars.\r more

HORRIBLE, TERRIFYING>>>I call Setty dental office to give them my take on the dentist there and there staff. I ask the receptionist to give me the office manager so I could tell them about there work and she hangs up on me.When I finally got a chance to speak to the manager I told them how horrible they are with there service back and front office. HORRIBLE, TERRIFYING DONT GO THERE YOUR TEETH WILL HURT YOU HAVE TO WAIT 2 HOURS ON JUST A SIMPLE CHECK UP THAT WAS SCHEDULED, THE CROWNS HURT AFTERWARDS. THEY DONT CARE AT ALL THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE DONT GO. more

Dr. Hothi did an excellent job on my 16 year old daughter's teeth. She has now perfect smile after treatment. The staff is very gentle and friendly. I would recommend anyone to this office! Thanks for a great experience. more

I don't like to submit these things as a norm, but really, this was the worst dentist and I hope I can spare you the time and expense I went through. What they charged me for was not the work that they did. They aren't dentist as far as I'm concerned. They are frauds that have non-dentist clean your teeth and don't have a dentist the exam. The wait was always over 25 minutes and they always had excuses when the computer or xray was down. I had to file a greivance with the insurance company again in the hopes to warn others. If you have any dental issues, this IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! more

Be careful. They charge you all kind, Will not tell you until half the work is done. In the begining they told me I only need to pay $150 from my pocket, but on the next visit they ask me for another $450. I will not recomend Setty Dental to anybody. more

I liked my visit here. I would recommend this dentist. Good Staff and Dentist. Most importantly, I did not feel the shot. That's most important for me. Made my day. Pros: Cozy, gentle, Did not feel the shot :-) more

Love the place!!!!!!! It is not Image dental anymore. Now Its SETTY DENTAL...I am really scared of going to a dentist or a doctor. But when I went to this office, it looked like SPA to me. Look at the colors..wow..what a soothing environment it is. I didn't feel like I am in a dental office. I felt like I am in a luxurious SPA. Computers all over. Very sophisticated. Doctor was very gentle. I couldn't even feel the procedure. You know what..! Going to a dentist is not scary anymore ...HA HA hA....as simple as going for a jacuzzi or a facial. Pros: Office is WOWWWW !!! Cons: None in this visit...I dont think there would be any... more

Guess a disgruntled ex employee has posted all these reviews. Looks like the same guy has been reviewing them multiple times with different id's , I am glad I ignored his cries and went ahead to them. Pros: Cheaper and affordable Cons: The office could be more trendy more

my friend and her husband went there. My friend was in pain for weeks. They refused to fix the problems. do not go there. they will cost you thousands of dollars at another dentist to fix their mistakes. Cons: pain more

I went there to get my teeth cleaned. The person who polished my teeth could not have been certified. She did not even speak English. I think she almost broke one of my teeth when she was doing the polishing. I believe it is against the law to use uncertified people to wrk on your teeth. I will never go there again. Please save yourself a lot of pain. Do not go there!!!! Pros: cant think of any Cons: may be braking the law more

They are terrible dentists. My friend went there. He got his teeth cleaned. The assistant that worked on his teeth was probably not certified. She almost broke his teeth. THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW> DO NOT GO THERE!!! You have been warned. more

They hurt my mom. She was in contstant pain after going there. They refused to fix the mistakes they made. After my mom went to a real dentist her pain was gone immediately. Please do not go there!!! you have been warned!!!! Cons: Cost alot ot fix their mistakes more

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to see. They butchered both me and my wife. DO NOT GO THERE!!! I cost us almost $2000 to fix the mistakes Image Dental did to us. Beware they are not qualified to do dentistry!!!! Cons: BUTCHERS!!! more
