Serramonte Center

This has been upgraded into a really nice mid-range mall. They remodeled recently, adding a large koi/turtle pond in the middle which is really tranquil and my kids love to watch the animals. The Target is really convenient and we have been going to the Marie Callender's there for years. They continue to get new stores that are similar -- Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, etc. The food court leaves a bit to be desired, but they have a couple of restaurants (M.C. and The Elephant Bar) and a Taco Bell, McDonald's and Burger King inside. more

I once rented a violin here for one year for about $130. During that year, there were so many countless problems with the violin and bow. I purchased insurance, but it did not cover when the bow broke. I also know a lot of people who have bought instruments there and had many problems with them. About 2 years after I returned the instrument, they sent me a letter with a hefty late fee, claiming that I have not returned the instrument yet and threaten to sue me. I gave them a call and I talked to them as nicely as I could, but they weren't so friendly with me. They insisted that there was no mistake and their computer was "gold". After being on and off the phone for the morning and afternoon, I told them to look for the violin in the warehouse and there, they found it. more

This store is fabulous. It is located in the Serramonte Shopping Center. Here, you will find many type of instruments. The most popular instrument here is the piano. There are a few piano displayed at the door. However, the store owners urge you not to touch the keys. You will find guitars, saxophones, flutes, etc. Many customers go there for guitar lessons. You will also find a load of sheet music! more
