When I go out to eat, I expect to pay a lot for my meal. I also expect to get a lot of food for that money. I'm a bit of a foodie and only want the best. Well, this place did deliver a great meal that I really enjoyed, only the portion was so small that I left feeling hungry still. The price wasn't worth the meal. However, the ambiance is very nice. more

This is the best 'homey' Mexican food joint LV has to offer??? 2/15/2008

My wife and I love Mexican food. Love it. Back before we moved to Las Vegas from the Bay Area last year, we frequented El Burro's in Campbell, CA. To this day, it's my, as well as my family's favorite restaurant of all time. Upon settling in LV, I had hoped to find a mexican restaurant that was just HALF as good as El Burro's. No tex-mex. Basic, authentic mexican food with a 'homey' feel to it. Senor Miguel's is not that place. Pros: Cheap, cheap food. Service. Cons: Nothing outstanding food-wise. more

It is very sad that this is actually one of the best representations of the cheesy mexican plate I crave. The bland flavor of the salsa,entrees and endless bean dip are somehow enhanced by the hideous decor and cafeteria-like atmosphere. But the best part is that when you leave you're...SURPRISE!!!..at the ratty old Suncoast.woof. more
