Whatever tax breaks the Seminole are getting here are not going into the consumer's pocket! The Hard Rock is a great place to go with a group of friends for a night out. After you find a space (valet also fills up quickly, so good luck with that) and walk at minimum half a mile back to the casino, you have some fun slots, but not the best poker situation. Long waits for a table make it difficult to play here. But there is a comedy club, steakhouse, concert hall, and many other restaurants (in a range of prices) and entertainment venues inside and just behind the casino. It's all here, the places are all close to each other, but far away from Fort Lauderdale, or any other place you're most likely coming from in order to meet up your friends. If you're not eating at a cafe-style serve yourself eatery, expect to find prices a bit unreasonable no matter where you are.
The hotel has a nice pool area and I'm sure nice rooms (I'm only reviewing from a evening entertainment standpoint) but the rooms are pricey, starting at $350 at a minimum. I can't see paying that much to stay basically in the middle of nowhere, far from a beach. But this is a popular bachelor and bachelorette party location due to their ability to cater to large groups.
