Selman Chevrolet Company

I bought a new 2011 Camaro 2SS from Selman. It had major and minor scratches all over the car. Walter, the General Sales Manager, took responsibility and said the paint would be fixed. I dropped it off April 1st and I did not see it again until they dropped it off to me April 30th. They had it for 30 days because they kept on telling me that there had been mistakes so they had to do it over. When they finally dropped it off to me, the paint was worse than what it was when I gave it to them. It had clear coat drip, paint scraped off the edge of the hood, no clear coat around the antenna from where they taped it off and a huge 2 foot long scratch down the rear bumper. Those are the major issues, there are a lot of "fish eyes" and specs in the paint. I had the new problems verified by a professional detailer and by the body shop at Bunnin GMC in Oxnard. I had Bunnin call Walter at Selman to let him know all the mistakes and extra damage they had done. Walter said too bad, that he wants nothing to do with the car and I have to pay for the repairs somewhere else on my own. I can't believe any company would do this, especially a major dealership. RUDE SALES JASON HOLLEY, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Back in March I was planning to buy a Chevy Cruze. I was greeted by Jason, he literally "showed" me the car and that's about it. He didn't even bother to explain any features of the vehicle, he just stood there, what a dou***bag. And guess what? Jason CANNOT & WILL NOT let you bargain. Well...where shall I begin..I want to WARN anyone who enters this dealership!!!! It started with me calling around looking for a suburban for my family. I wanted a certain color and style like most people. I got ahold of a salesman by he name of vice that was SUPER pleasant. He did not have what I was looking for but let me know that he was going to call if something came up. I got a call from him yesterday saying he got the car we wanted in. We talked about price and he checked with his manager and we worked out a deal right over the phone. It was very simple because it was one of the last 2010 models and it was a demo and they just "needed to get rid of it". Perfect for me. I told him I wanted my payment to be an even 700.00 so he gave me the exact amount what I needed to put down on the vehicle, so I made the check out and had everything ready when we headed to the dealer when my husband got off work. We got down there and the car was out looking nice and my husband and two sons were super excited to take their new car home!! That's when the super pleasant experience STOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

I went to the Parts Department at Selman Chevrolet. I was looking for truck t-shirts with truck and baseball logos/opictures on them s for my husband. The man at the counter was so nice and so helpful. He gladly went thru catalogs for me looking for unique t-shirts and even found a great Corvette watch for me. My husbamd was totaly happy with this gifts!!!. Thank you, Selman!!! more

I took my damaged Acura to Selman Chevrolet Body and Paint Repair(entrance on Tustin Ave) after it was hit while parked. I was extremely pleased at the service and quality of repair. They arranged for a rental from Enterprise (paid by the insurance co.) and had my car ready in a timely manner. I highly recommend their service. more
