I'm not a chocolate junkie...but like most kids who grew up in So Cal during the 60s-70s, See's Candies is a hallmark holiday treat. To this day, going to the traditional Christmas Eve extended family gathering at my sister-in-law's home is always highlighted by at least a pound or two of Mrs. See's goodies. The team of ladies at this particular location in the Galleria is always friendly and helpful...even when I order a pound box of candy that weighs more than a pound. I love that you can go to the shop and order a hand-packed box of someone's favorite pieces. This is why my box always weighs more than a pound...California Brittle is not the average candy.
