Having been a commercial photographer since 1991, I write from the perspective of a colleague rather than a client. I met Season through a charitable photography project we were both working on. I found her to be a truly gifted photographer. She is well skilled in the technology of our craft and extremely proficient in developing the rapport with her subjects that enables her to consistently produce stunning images that look natural and engaging. Her work and her well earned reputation for excellence speak for themselves. Do not be dissuaded by one unfavorable review of questionable origin. Season is a rare jewel. Season is a nice girl and very friendly, so I hate to say anything bad. It's not personal. Our session, with two girls, was ok, but not worth what we paid for the prints. Nothing met my expectations. I can get ""friendly"" at Portrait Innovations. Images were out of focus, poor color, and it took well over a month to get them. A discerning eye will not be satisfied. Sorry Season, but not a fan. The advertised shots are the best of the best, as they should be. But mine, from my session, were not up to par. Pros: friendly girl Cons: not so good photography more

Season Moore is like your favorite friend coming over. She's so good with babies and exceptionally good with children! We loved everything she did and she surely captured each one of my daughter's personalities! Season is patient, creative, fun, funny, professional and compassionate. Even though I moved away from Durham in 2006, I returned in the summer of 2007 to visit friends and to have Season photograph my 3 kids. I saw how she captured the expressions, movements and joy of childhood in my friends' children, and I wanted her to try to do the same for mine. She doesn't do studio portraiture (except maybe for newborns) and uses natural outdoor lighting, textures and colors to bring out the best in your children. Then, she works some magic on her computer to create stunning, ethereal photos of them. I had wanted her to try to shoot the photos in an urban area, so she went out and scouted alleys, streets, doors, and windows the day before so she could use those backgrounds in my kids' shoot. The results were everything I expected. And, Season's so easy to work with to boot. Her prices are exceptionally reasonable for the quality of the photos you get. I have truly never seen work as wonderful as hers. She photographed my then 3 year old son and the outcome was truly amazing. My son honestly thought he was on a playdate with ""my Season"" and was thoroughly confused about why she wasn't in his photographs. He had a fabulous playdate and we have amazing keepsake photographs that make us tear up everytime we see them! There is no other business, much less photographer, that I would praise as highly as I praise Season! Season captures the ""real"" moments of life. The best part about her pictures are they are unique, reflecting the child, the family etc. I carefully reviewed her gallery before selecting her to photgraph my family. If you are tired with the canned poses, the canned props and dragging your poor children to the mall (only to have your ""appt"" be an hour late) like I was then hire Season! We used Season to take pictures of our family a few months ago. I have used several other places in the Triangle and was not please with the results as the pictures turned out cheesy and fake looking. Our pictures from Season were so natural and fun and playful. No posing just how we would be everyday. Our friends and relatives cried when they saw the proofs. They were the most gorgeous pictures ever taken of us. We just loved them and the best part is they captured our personality, especially our young daughter who was 1 year old. A picture is worth a thousand words when Season does them and I highly recommend her.
