We just moved to the Green Lake area, so Krittika is just a few blocks' walk from our house. My wife went there for takeout lunch on her day off, and totally raved about it. When I got home, she gave me some left-over chicken pad thai, and I was shocked to see that it had a red sauce on it! Neither my wife nor I had ever liked a red-sauce pad thai; only the brownish peanut sauce. Well I have to say that this is some of the best I've had!
Since then, we have brought home dinner twice from Krittika, and have not been disappointed. My top recommendations are the pad thai (of course), chicken with black bean sauce, spicy fried rice, and beef pad see iew (don't know if I spelled that correctly). There's also an appetizer that's prawns and cream cheese wrapped in rice paper and deep fried - I'm sure it's not authentic Thai, but it is definitely yummy! I guess I would not recommend the cashew chicken - it was good, but not great. Next I want to try the bbq chicken and curries.
We haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, so I can't say anything about the table service, but for take-out, it's a very good quality Thai restaurant.
