oil change gone bad 8/10/2010

I went in for a simple oil change, fell for their special ""MULTIPOINT INSPECTION""deal and ended up driving away with my tailpipe dragging on the ground, after explaining this to one employee the very next day and not getting a return phone call, which most decent companys do, I called back the next morning and explained the situation to the manager whom proceeded to tell me they could fix it for a charge and insinuate that I was a dumbass! well, it probably would not have gone any further if it was not for the unprofessional DUMBASS INSINUATION that I received from the business manager. They denied any wrong doing, they have handeld the situation with very poor judgement and I beleive the manager should be repremanded for the way that he handeld the complete situation...............well I suggest to anyone whom might be thinking of or has received any type of service from this business to reconsider and check with a company whom might have a little better customer service..................what a unforgettful experiance......oh by the way this happened all within a 48 hour time frame. 8/9/2010-8/10/2010, good luck for anyone contemplating to let these people work on your vehicle. more

Buyer Beware of Undisclosed Charges 4/6/2008

After discovering a nail in one of my tires, I headed to Sears Auto Center, 1st Avenue South, Seattle. The tire was unfixable (the offending nail was too close to the sidewall of the tire). One of the other tires was in a questionable condition and, seeing I have an AWD vehicle, I decided to replace all four tires. Like most folks, I haven't replaced car tires very often, so I had to do some quick in-the-store cost comparisons and decided on a set of tires that were just under $100 apiece. The car was due for a wheel alignment (Sears said this would cost $69.99), and I agreed with the service tech that this should also be performed. What I wasn't told about was the following charges: Pros: Open Sundays Cons: You get what you don't want to pay for more
