Yikes 11/23/2005

When I was a kid, this was a great place for getting seafood. Now, this place is horrific. It is always dirty, messy, and it always smells with the same stink. Flies are always flying around the seafood section! This place sells all asian products, but at high prices! The seafood is expensive too! Stay away from here! more

Declining Supermarket 9/6/2005

Previously the one place to go for fresh produce and seafood, Sea Palace's popularity has been declining for some time now, due to competition from newly opened 99 Ranch Market. Sea Palace still remains a rather messy, Asian-oriented supermarket with a decent selection of Asian and American food. There aren't many choices of seafood and fruits, but snack foods and Chinese delicacies abound. Dirty and unorganized, Sea Palace seems like it will go out of business soon. more

Sea Palace Market 7/29/2005

The Sea Palace Market is less a palace, more like your "average home" market. The selection of seafood and meat is about what you'd find at any market in town, maybe less than at some. Live seafood is limited to oysters, crabs and a couple others. The market also sells a variety of other Asian and Asian Pacific food items--wines, cooking oils, sauces, spices, fruits and vegetables, tofu and noodles. Dutch and British tinned sweets and cookies reflect a colonial history. American foods are represented mostly by snack items, such as Pringles. more
