Great seafood and quite good dim sum 12/25/2005

I'd actually give it five stars for the seafood. I had the most incredibly shrimp there. Only the ultra fresh variety in Shanghai beat it. But, you have to make sure to get what is really fresh out of the tank. The best preparation IMHO is the salt and pepper shrimp or lobster or crab. So if you want to splurge this is the place to go. I've also had dim sum there for lunch. It is a good quick business man's lunch. Nothing special, but parking is easy and it is fast. The eggplant things are particularliy yummy. more

Best Chinese Food on the Eastside 8/6/2004

Well, there are varying opinions and maybe Top Gun is a better restaurant for dim sum, but you really can't beat Sea Garden for the seafood. Stay away from the traditional broccoli and beef stuff, that's uninspired, but if you find fresh shrimp at the water tank, go for it. Or fresh crab. (Best preparation is salt and pepper only). Ask your server whats really fresh and go for it! more
