CLOSED... for now? 11/19/2008

Decided to take a walk in the cold and get some Korean food. I'd eaten here before, and it was good. However, when I found the address, the windows were whited out and a ""closed due to health violations"" sign was affixed to the door. more

Affordable and very nice service 5/30/2008

I was impressed by the hospitality I received here. The Bibimbop Dolsot was not that great to be honest... it lacked flavor. more

Good delivery 1/8/2007

I order from here ALL the time...I think the food is very good, and love it that they give you all these sides. They are usually very prompt with the order also! Some say it's expensive, but look at the prices at K-town it's not cheap. more

Great Korean in the downtown area 10/5/2006

This place is hidden among al the little shops and eateries in the area. I'm always in the area and never noticed this place. I happened to stumble upon it today and returned for lunch. Pros: Tasty, service more

so so 8/31/2006

Service is good but the food is so so and overpriced. more

Just average Korean food but decent lunch spot 2/8/2006

Compared to places in Koreatown, this place would be below average. But since it's probably one of the few Korean places in the financial district, it's ok. Super-packed at lunch during the week for the lunch specials, which is a decent $10 weekday lunch. Bulgogi looks bland and steamed though. Dol sots are just average and pan chan seem uninspired. Cons: Too crowded at lunch more

Excellent Lunch Deals 8/21/2002

Authentic tasty and affordable lunches - rivals that of K-town. Only gripe is that this place has only 1 outlet in Manhattan. more

great little home-style Korean place 6/27/2002

Good priced Korean place, with home-made style kim-chee! The place stays open for dinner in an area where it's mostly-lunch only so it's a good spot for a quick, after-work inexpensive meal. Good bibimbop and dumplings! more

Good food, but cheap on the banchan! 6/5/2002

If you're like me and work downtown, then there aren't a lot of korean lunch options outside trekking to 32nd st. The food here is actually pretty good. Pass on the kalbi box but try the dolsot dishes. The kimchi dolsot is pretty good. The place is pretty small so there's always a wait during prime lunch hours. Staff is nice, but my biggest complaint is that they're really cheap on the banchan(side dishes)-they get a lot of non-korean customers so I guess they figure they won't know. more
