I've visited Scola's several times over the past three or four years. I've always been pleased with the quality of the food and the portion size is large for the price that is paid. A diverse appetizer selection and specials are always available. The restaurant it self is a relaxed atmosphere and has always been busy when I've visited. I would have to say that the only issues that I have is that the wine list is small and is a little to commercial for my liking (only my opinion). On a busy weekend I think that the servers would benefit from a few ""runners"" to help to attend tables and make the waiting at the tables much less than usual (my experience on a weekend, two dining with an appetizer, main course and a cup of coffee to espresso to end can take close to two hours). In all I keep going back simply because the food is so good and that is what I appreciate the most at Scola's. FYI - the bar side of the restaurant gets really loud.....
Pros: Priced well, good food
Cons: slow
