Tons of fun stuff 4/1/2006

Scavenge helps me out every year for Halloween in Isla Vista. Cause what would Halloween in IV be without girls wearing fishnet stockings. They are stocked full of clothes for men and women. They have tons of novelty items, shoes, costumes, party supplies and a bunch of other random stuff. If you're searching for something a little different I would recommend giving this store a try and see what you can find. And at the front of the store they have a photo booth which costs just a few bucks. Sometimes, my friends and I have stopped in just to get some fun photo booth pictures. more

You never know what you'll find 9/8/2005

This store is great because you never know what you will find. This is almost like a higher end indoor swapmeet. There are clothes, shoes, toys, novelty items, items for your house. They have party favors, sunglasses, jewelry, lighters. It's just insane that they have such a selection and you never know what they might have. It's kind of exciting to see what they have each time you go. The prices are really reasonable as well. I think one of the things that makes it exciting to go is that there is a little bit of a "shady" element to it. It is right on State Street, so you can have fun walking the street, hitting the bars and shopping at Scavenge. more

Party supplies and a photo booth! 8/18/2005

Scavenge is located near the end of Santa Barbara's famous State Street. It has a seemingly endless supply of party goods and costumes. However, my favorite part of the store is the awesome photo booth they have right in the front. For $2 you can get a photo strip of yourself, or yourself with a friend or loved one. Even if you're not in the market for party supplies or costumes, stop by Scavenge for the photo booth fun! more

Ecclectic Selection of "Stuff" 8/10/2005

Scavenge is a huge store filled with "stuff" of all kinds. They have clothing for men and women, shoes, housewares, cosmetics, jewelry, and every kind of novelty you can imagine. If you're looking for a strange or gag gift, this is definitely the place to come. They have some really unique items, for example, last time I shopped there I ended up walking away with: star patterned shoelaces, black bandaids with skulls on them, a candle holder shaped like Elvis, sparkly barettes, a pair of platform shoes, a lace camisole and a pirate shaped car air freshener. more
