I am looking for a place where I can surf the Internet on my laptop and drink coffee. Unfortunately, there are no outlets to plug in a laptop. I don't know if they have WiFi. \r It looks like I'll have to bring a paperback someday.\r If they were laptop friendly, I would be there 3 days a week ordering drinks. There's a reason why Starbucks started becoming laptop friendly, and that's because the business model works.\r more

Enh 8/11/2006

Were Saurin Parke not so convenient to where I live, I doubt I would choose it over the cafes farther downtown. The counterpeople are vaguely civil at best, surly at worst, and the prices aren't fabulous. (Oh, and the hours posted out front are incorrectthey're not open until midnight.) But there aren't many non-Starbucks options this far uptown. Pros: Wifi, location, good coffee Cons: Surly counterpeople more

Very good place 4/2/2004

Best almond croissants around. There's no better place to hang out on a Sunday morning uptown. Pray for a nice warm day so they open the front doors. Cheyenne is my favorite! Love him! Pros: People more

Off day? 3/27/2004

Perhaps we went on an off day...the cafe itself is cute and quaint, but with limited seating. We went on a Sunday morning and got a nice table by the door. The cashier and sandwich maker were completely disorganized and visibly frazzled. It wasn't that busy, but they acted as though it was and everything came out haphazardly. I wasn't impressed, but I'd certainly go for a cup of coffee and sit for a little while if it's not too crowded. Pros: close to the park, nice atmosphere more

I was up on 95th visiting a friend and we happened upon this cafe. Beautiful view of the park and cozy ambience. Great tea selection and wonderful pastries. You can sit for hours undisturbed and find peace of mind. LOVE IT! Pros: Good for groups, Romantic more
