Breakfast is good, too 7/30/2007

A friend and I had breakfast at the Satellite Cafe this morning. Neither of us lives near here, but we had a coupon and decided to try it. What I liked the best was the high quality of coffee and that there are four varieties that you can choose from. You do have to serve yourself, but that was not a problem for us. I'd rather get coffee when I am ready instead of sending out a search team to find the waitress. Pros: good prices, service, and food! Cons: too much Austin traffic keeping me from this restaurant! more

Best dining experience in a long time! 5/7/2007

I went to dinner here with a girlfriend on a Saturday night and had the best time. We sat at the bar and had a glass of wine before we got seated outside on the cute little patio. Service was excellent, appetizer was great, and the entrees were delicious. I had the orchid chicken and my friend had the ribs. Our server recommended the chocolate cake and it was to die for! I plan on taking all of my friends and family here, it was such a pleasant dining experience! more

Good fare 4/16/2007

In most major cities you will find something like the Satellite downtown. Good world fusion menu and laid-back environ. The Satellite in South Austin should be closer to the city and it might do better. I had a good rare steak here, it was full meal and enjoyable dinner. Good wine list, but expected. Pros: good for a upscale diner, dont expect anything fancy Cons: small, bad location more

Undercooked food 2/28/2007

Do not go here. My husband and I ate at the new Circle C location. The Orchid Chicken that I ordered was raw on the inside! I notified the manager and she took it away. I then did not speak with her again. Another waiter told us that we did not have to pay. For your own safety, i do not recommend this place. more

Fantastic food and friendly staff! 7/10/2005

The food is really amazing, especially considering the price, and the winelist is incredible, one you'd expect at a much larger restaurant. Weekend breakfasts, especially the Mississippi Sun and the French toast, are a treat, but come in for dinner as well.
