I initially I had some reservations about going. I am very picky about who I let cut my hair. Regularly I have trusted friends in the industry do it (I am a hairstylist myself), but I really wanted to JUST be a CLIENT for once. My usual digs are downtown and brooklyn, so I figured the place to go, naturally, would be uptown.
Valerie was punctual, professional, and thorough. She immediately put me at ease with her chilled out, calm manner. She figured out exactly what would work for me. In the end I walked out with a new look that I LOVE, and never would have thought of for myself (which is refreshing). I guess one could say she is the Hairstylists' stylist. Thank you Valerie.
