Best Stylist in NC 5/21/2010

Where do I begin! I have been coming to Lauren Vincent for over 10 years and I can't remember the time I did not count on her for my hair care. She is an expert at color and stylish cuts and is constantly attending workshops and courses to keep up with the latest hair care products and styles. I have never seen anyone like her! No only do I get a great haircut and natural looking color, one can quickly get into intelligent conversations about any and everything. My time in the salon flies by! I consider her a friend and trust no one but her to color my hair. She has helped me with my daughter as my daughter went through the many stages of wanting to do her own color....and then calling Lauren in a panic to fix her disaster! Lauren has saved her so many times! Trust me....give her a try and you won't let anyone else touch your hair! Pros: wonderful atmosphere, best stylist in NC, great location, Cons: NONE! more

Best Cut and Color in Durham 8/5/2009

As a native of Durham I have been to just about every salon in the Durham/Chapel Hill area and I must say that Lauren Vincent at Sandy Winchester's is by far the BEST stylist I have ever been too. I know live in Chicago but still wait to get my hair done just so that I can make sure Lauren does it. She always listens to what I want but is never shy to let me know how to take it to the next level. She is excited about trying out new styles and always stays on top of what is both chic and timeless. She is also devoted to making sure my hair stays healthy so that the color and style look their very best. I have gone to salons in Chicago and paid three times as much as Lauren charges and have never left one of those salons feeling half as stylish, chic, and beautiful as I do after she has done my hair! She is an amazing artist who maintains her practice by constantly taking new classes on cut and color. And, as an added bonus, she is an amazingly kind and intelligent woman! more

Hip and Chic Hairsylist 7/17/2009

I have been seeing Lauren Vincent for three years. When Lauren started working with my fine textured hair it was over processed and literally burnt. Since seeing Lauren my hair is now healthy due to her abilities as well as the amazing hair care products she has introduced me to. I have a Hip style that adds to my features. I am continually getting compliments on Laurens ability to add varying degrees of color to my hair that only a professional could do. Pros: Undivided attention Cons: None. more

Excellent hair sylist Lauren Vincent 6/24/2009

I have been geting my hair done by Lauren Vincent at Sandy Winchester Hair and Co. for many years now. I usually get color, low lights , condition and cut. Lauren takes all the time needed to transform my hair into a red carpet event quality. I receive many compliments on the shine and tone afterwards. Lauren made my wedding day perfect this year by not having me worry about such details as my hair and make up. She took care of everything. I highly reccomend Lauren and Sandy Winchester Hair and Co. Five-Star Salon in Durham 8/16/2008

When I first saw Lauren at Sandy Winchester 's Hair & CO, I was trying to ""grow out"" a bad cut imposed upon me by an over-rated salon in Chapel Hill. Lauren listened to my tale of woe, gave me a great cut, and provided guidance on reproducing my new style at home. My medium-long, naturally curly hair proves daunting to some stylists, but not Lauren; she is creative and inspiring. Since that initial visit, I have been a client at Sandy Winchester Hair for over 10 years now.
