I have just purchased a 'New to Me' 2014 Ford Edge. I walked in to the Swansboro Sanders Ford Dealership to get ideas of what payment I would be looking at if I purchased a car. I was very concerned because not having a car payment in 10 years I just knew I was going to be shocked. I was directed to a salesman Damon Fairchild. I should say Great Salesman!! He sat and asked questions as to what 'I' needed and wanted. He took the time to get to know my needs and wants. He knew then what to show me even down to the color I wanted. His list of approximately 10 choices that we went over were the best for me. Damon also worked with his fellow coworkers to get my price and payments where I can be comfortable . I went home, thought about my options and came back the next day after checking with banks and credit unions. The lowest interest rate was 2.50. So I still tried other cars and I kept going back to the Edge. The non-pressure that I felt at the Dealership helped me concentrate on my concerns. This is why I was able to decide to purchase my 'New to Me' car. I called ahead and told them that it was a go and would they draw up the papers for me to sigh. I agreed with the price and interest rate provided me. When I get to the Dealership to sign my papers the finance manager had found me an even better interest rate instead of the 2.50 percent he got me one for 2.24 percent. Even after agreeing to the sale they kept on trying to better my payments. I am very happy that I went to Sanders Ford of Swansboro Wednesday 9/16/15 and purchased my Edge!! more

I bought a 2013 ford f350 i found on the internet and finally liked their price and came down from long Island and bought it.\r 1. the mileage was listed first at '10', then after talking to them it went to ""7300"" and we negotiated a price because of that and I still proceeded, when I picked it up it had ""8600"", NOT good.\r 2. asked if it was ""tow ready"" they said yes, yep tow ready except for no towing brake control, NOT tow ready.\r 3. It was raining when I picked it up so i didn't get to check the body (bed and all) for cleanliness, after I washed it there was a HUGE pile of sand under it because of how filthy it was, NOT clean.\r 4.the bed is a special order flat bed with a pull out ramp for loading motorcycles and atv's, I must have it refurbished due to many broken and faulty parts ( broken due to their usage and other design problems) NOT safe.\r 5. One of the rear dually tires kept losing air , brought it to my local trusted tire shop. Rear tire had TWO plugs in it, and one front tire was severely damaged as if it were slid across a cheese grader, NOT safe.\r \r I learned an expensive lesson. more

No one likes to go to the service dept, let's face it, but sometimes it is unavoidable. When we have been in to the service there, it has been handled professionally and promptly. I would recommend this dealership to anyone I know. more

worst experience with customer service 1/28/2012

I've spent way to much time on this"" when in reality every time he called he apologized for being held up with other things that had came up.. all about the money and and definately not about customer service. ended up getting a vehicle from Stevens ford although I was in love with the one I wanted from Sanders. more

Nightmare Experience 6/15/2011

I took my 2007 F-150, that has never had ANY problems EVER since i have owned it to Sanders ford to be serviced for an upcoming trip i was taking, just wanted to do a transmission flush, a tire rotation, and fuel cleaning, on a Fri, they had it ALL DAY!! i picked it up on Fri, shelled out my $815 and went on my way. Sun evening check engine light came on, truck began to shake terrible, took it home and parked it. Called Sanders ford on Mon, they came and picked it up at 10 am, had my truck ALL DAY, told me coil wire was misfiring and they replaced it with a ""used"" one they had laying around the shop, never even called to ask me if i minded having USED parts put on my truck, which defeats the sole reason why anybody would take their FORD vehicle to a FORD dealership, but i didnt make a stink, went on about my business, got my truck and was on my way. TUES check engine light comes on AGAIN!!!!!!!!! take to Sanders Ford, Now it is the catalytic converter, which is on backorder, so they put on an aftermarket one until the FORD one could come in. WED i am supposed to leave on my trip, and low and behold, my truck is surging and acting crazy again!! So at this point i am DONE with Sanders ford and ask that they pay for me to take it somewhere else, which the declined and told me i NEED to bring it back there AGAIN!!! because they think i am a retard. i can not state it enough that my truck NEVER had one single problem, not so much as even a flat tire until i took it there. the ONLY thing good at Sanders Ford is the Shuttle Driver, he was very nice, pleasant, and overall a great person, its just too bad that he dont work on cars. i have heard nothing but TERRIBLE things about this place, i wouldnt tell my worst enemy to EVER go there. I think it is an OUTRAGE that they are operating in a military town and stealing from the men and women of our armed forces. Our men and women and sacrificing their lives, missing out on their children grow up, and getting ripped off by scum like this. it is an OUTRAGE!!!! PLEASE DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO SANDERS FORD!! YOU WILL PAY DEARLY, OUT OF POCKET AND ON THE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL HAVE!!!! more

Love the staff here - specially the guys and gals in the body department!! Very pleasant and helpful in any way. Quick to get you car done and back to you. Prices are great! Very knowledgeable employees as well - one guy knew what he was talking about. That guy was good! (shaved head) The manager there was beyond words! So helpful and quite pleasant to speak with and just wonderful in how he treats his team - very respectful and has good leadership. Mr. John is a keeper to make that place work!! Overall ... two thumbs up! more
