Padres are good but Petco Park Rocks! 4/5/2006

We try to get to two Padres home games a season. While I enjoy watching the Padres, it's the ballpark that I am in love with. There are great food options at the park and I like to walk around and take in the view of downtown and the bay. The "park at the park" is a nice lawn area with hill where families can have a picnic and watch the game on a big screen. Take me out to this ball game any day! more

Great for baseball fans! 10/11/2005

The stadium that holds the San Diego Padres fans is a fun environment. The stadium is huge! The food is expensive, but the people taking your orders and delivering your food are very friendly. On Friday night games, free Padres memoribilia is given out. i have gotten some pretty cool stuff. And despite being downtown, the park has relatively cheap parking. I've never been a huge fan of baseball, but I loved watching these games live. The fans are loyal and loud. The view is great. The stadium holds lots of seats. and we are even treated to fireworks when the Padres win. more

Revamping Downtown 9/8/2005

Petco Park is single handedly revamping downtown. It’s adding a level of class and sophistication that that area of San Diego has not seen in a long time. If you haven’t been to Petco Park yet, go at least once. Even if you’re not a fan of baseball, it’s still a fun event to attend. If you are a fan of baseball, you’re going to have a great time. more

Nice ballpark 8/21/2005

This is my first baseball game in a baseball stadium and I like it a lot. The ballpark is the newest in the Major League and it looks very modern. I really like the outfield where they have a park. A park in the park! In the outfield park, people can picnic and watch the game at the same time. They also have a sand lot between the outfield wall and the park in the outfield for children to play. If you enjoy baseball, I would recommend going to Petco Park to watch a game. The team is very good and the ballpark is great. more

greatest team in american history 8/19/2005

The Padres a number one, they are the team of Tony Gwynn. They have a phat new stadium in Petco Park and they are rocking in first place right now!! Even though they are a game below .500 they are still headed for the world series. So don't miss your chance to see the legendary San Diego Padres in action. Giles, Peavy, Hoffman, Loretta, Klesko... what a team. Heh actually they aren't so great but what can you do? If you live in San Diego then they should be your team. more

Take me out to the ballgame... 8/11/2005

For the newest ballpark in baseball, visit Petco Park! If you're a serious baseball fan, well, you can root for the Padres because they're in first place. If you're the casual fan, you can still enjoy the ball park. Every seat in the stadium is pretty good. The cheapest "seats" are the park pass, which is the standing room only tickets. But the thing is, there's a park in the outfield, so you can just watch it from there. Heck, you can have a picnic in the outfield and watch the game at the same time! more
