Best

I highly recommend this restaurant. Wonderful service and great food. Side orders are free and refill them as many times as you want without the wait staff hassling with you. ...

Worst

The kalbi was very chewy compared to the other Korean restaurants that I have been to. If you like these shortribs, I will suggest trying Korea Garden or Seoul Garden instead.

HORRIBLE! NO, NO, NO! 5/5/2008

The people who wrote the previous reviews must be relatives or friends with the owners because this place is horrible! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! All I wanted was rice, kimchie, and galbie, but what I got was a plate full of nastiness! The galbie was just fat on a bone that I may have been able to eat 4 bites of and the kimchie was the fishiest tasting kimchie in the world! I thought I reached into Galveston?s water, grabbed a live fish, and bit into it?it was disgusting! And on top of that, this was my fiance?s first experience of Korean food and probably his last, I need to take him to my friend?s oma and opa?s house for the real thing! Oh, and just for 2 of us, at lunch, $30! No, do NOT go! Pros: THE EGG ROLLS Cons: HORRIBLE FOOD! more

good cookin 11/2/2006

I really enjoyed this place and so did alot of my friends. We cooked our own meat and the abundance of side orders that come with your meal is great. Now it can get expensive but it is well worth it to me. Pros: good fun for all Cons: expensive more

fun to try new things 7/17/2006

We've been here several times and enjoyed trying something new each time. The bbq is fun but the foods I like the most we don't have to cook - there's a really good pancake dish and a good stir-frys. There's also this chilled sake-like beverage they serve in a teapot that really hits the spot. All the side dishes are tasty and there's quite a variety. Dinner is not cheap here but worth the price. Pros: variety of yummy dishes Cons: a bit pricey, but not too bad more

Good for the most part 8/8/2005

Sam bo is a great restaurant, but for those people searching for lean pulgogi this place is not it. I only been once, but my boyfriend has been there many times. Sometimes the pulgogi is lean and other times it is full of grizzle. There is no doubt the the pulgogi marinade is very tasty and if you are not eating pulgogi, then you probably wont have a problem with your BBQ. I was dissappointed with their Gheem Bab. Although the aroma was very appetizing, the rolls had too much rice and no crab or traditional fish paste sausage. That is what I order it for! This place is good if you not wanting to drive to far from inside the loop. Pros: good small dishes, tasty sauces, good service Cons: chewy pulgogi, odd gheem bab more

Fab Korean place! 9/26/2003

This place has fantastic Korean dishes and yes, side dishes are free eat all you can but dinner menu can get a bit pricey (as with all Korean restaurants in Houston even those in Bingle area). place is quiet, clean and subdued and waitstaff are friendly and quick without being too nosy. Overall a great place to eat!!! Lunch specials are fabulous! Pros: food, ambiance, service Cons: some dishes pricey more
