This was my first trip to seattle, to visit friends. I had heard all about this place and read the reviews. Many are good and a few are not so good. I myself, loved it. Yes the line was long (I am told the busiest days are fridays and all days in July/August) so I arrived at 11. I waited about 20 minutes. I had no clue what to order because it was a bit confusing. I asked for help and ended up with free tastes of everything (not to mention the frequent samples that were passed to the folks waiting in line.) I decided on the mole and mozzarella, with the mini baguette, which i understand is new in the last year, for folks who want a softer bread. My friend had the muffo. We shared, and we loved both. The people working there were extremely busy, but incredibly friendly. The customers all seemed happy. I am going to return next week and give it another whirl, maybe i will try the meatballs, i hear they are a bargain, and huge.
Pros: the best salami in the country
Cons: can be confusing to first timers, but ask for samples
