Editorial review from Citysearch 9/26/2012

Great Place to learn how to Dance Salsa, also a great place to meet new people and just have fun.\r Ive been going for 6 years now and i truly love i. Its addiciting. For those that are intrested in taking their dancing to the next level they started a student dance team, and a semi pro team as well as a pro team. Teams performe in the Miami Salsa Congress and Orlando Salsa Congress, this year we even got to perform in the Montreal Congress. more

Awesome Place! 2/11/2011

I've been taking classes at Salsa Lovers for the past 5 years and it has changed my life. After my divorce I went to a latin club and found myself standing at the bar. I saw these two guys that were being asked to dance salsa everytime the dj played a song. I asked them were they had learned and they told me at Salsa Lovers. I started classes that Monday and haven't stopped ever since. There group classes are structured in a way that helps you with the basic fundamentals all the way through master level. I also took private classes and those really polished me up. Also, the atmosphere is wonderful. You meet really nice people between the ages of 25-65. I recommend this place to anyone who really wants to learn how to dance great. more

Dance like a latin Girl! 5/26/2010

We took salsa lessons here for our first dance for our wedding. You couldn’t ask for much more than what we got – very accommodating, always welcoming, attentive. The American bride went from dancing like “Robocop” to “dancing like a latin girl” according to the mother in law. Salsa lovers did a great job~. Its best to stick with the same instructor - try to work with rene, the owner. He is a ball of energy and a great (and patient) teacher. We worked with a few of the other instructors, but felt most comfortable with rene. They moved to a new location in the last few months. although they are stil putting on the finishing touches, the place is clean, well lit, and the AC does work. I went to the previous locaiton a few years ago and it was falling apart, no doubt. I cant say much about the other instructors since we worked with one person more

Don't waist your time or money. 10/10/2008

This place use to be good, about 2 years ago! Now they are just holding on by a thread. The instructors are young and inexperienced, most of them have never even stepped foot out side of Salsa Lovers, let alone been to a competition or a Salsa Congress. They pass people from level to level without making sure that they have really learned the steps! It's actually very frustrating! I went there wanting to brush up on my dancing, having been an experienced dancer from a few years back I quickly noticed that this place had turned into a joke. It's sad, but true. They are just interested in taking your money. Oh and let me add that this place is falling apart, the AC never works, and the wooden floor feels like it's about to fall apart, and looks like it's being held together by all the pieces of gum that have never been scraped off. It's actually very disgusting! Save your money or take it somewhere else, because on top of everything that I have mentioned they are ridiculously over priced! more
