I am new to the area and I found the salon by accident but it was a god send. I have never had so many compliments on my hair ever !!!

Worst

I've been to this huge salon on numerous occasions and have seen different stylists, all being fairly competent. The shampoo room on the other hand is unprofessional and DISGUS...

Mercedes gives the ABSOLUTE BEST manicure and pedicure I've ever had. 10/19/2006

I discovered Mercedes last year, and as a life long mani/pedi aficionada, I can honestly say she gives the best manicures and pedicures ever! It's the whole experience, not just the pretty nail end result. From bringing you hot tea, to a really long and great foot and leg massage, to the special oils she uses to relax and finally the pretty painted nails at the end, the entire experience is mega relaxing. All that, and she's an interesting, funny, and overal genuinely kind-hearted person who really cares. Pros: Very talented staff! Cons: Doesn't take credit cards. more

Found My New Spot 10/17/2006

I have been looking for a Salon where I can go and feel confortable and at ease. I had to go to a wedding and I felt like treating myself, a friend of mine says try Letoile. Well, not ownly was a treated so nicely at the front desk, I was treated very nicely the by everyone one there and I looked and felt wonderful when I left. I also rebooked an appointment to get my hair colored next week. Pros: really know what they are doing Cons: no credit cards more

great accomodation 10/14/2006

i walked into this salon without an appointment, i just needed a spur of the moment blowdry and they were able to fit me in right away. Not many places do that, it impressed me enough to write this review! and it was a great blowdry AND the woman who washed my hair was great, she massaged my scalp, it felt like i could have fallen asleep! Pros: quick accomodation Cons: no credit cards more

Great manicures and waxing from Mercedes! 9/18/2006

I get the best manicures and pedicures from Mercedes. She is knowledgeable, fun and really takes her time giving me the best treatment. I learned alot about skin care from her-- an added plus. She sends flyers and coupons for her services- which makes her a unique nail technician. In all my years of going to L'Etoile-- Mercedes is definitely my favorite manicurist. She does an excellent waxing as well. If you want to feel extra special- treat yourself to a manicure with Mercedes-- you will be so glad you did! more

I went to the salon because I liked how Xena cut my girlfriends hair. I ruined my hair by trying to do too many things to it myself. Well Xena did a beautiful job. She was understanding, patient, and took me from disaster to beautiful. I still have a long way to go, but I'm sure Xena can get me there. Marylou did my color and it was just what Iwanted. I'm looking forward to my next visit with both. Pros: getting an appointment when you need one Cons: no reason to post a negative comment yet. more

Ask for Mercedes to get the best pedicure ever. It's a full-scale foot and lower-leg massage that feels wonderful -- the pretty toes are just icing on the cake! more

Some front desk staff are better than others. 8/10/2006

Theresa is a fabulous manicurist. I've been going to her for years for waxing, manicures, and pedicures. She is professional, on time, and very nice to talk to. She does a great job every time. I won't have anyone else do my nails. Pros: Very good products for the skin. It is very clean. Theresa has fit me in to stay later, very nice. Thanks. Cons: Front desk staff can be occasionally unprofessional. more

it was one that I will go to and tell my friends to go. From the time I walked at the front desk,the shampoo people and the person who colored my hair and stlyed it. till the time I left . Great Wonderful is all I can say from beginng to end. Pros: thunbs up to all that work there more

Ghastly Service 8/1/2006

This used to be a terrific Salon,but now they are ,at best, a run of the mill Salon and when I went there over this past weekend,everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. The manicure was terrible,the coloring left me in tears and to top it off they didn't even apologize for spilling the chemicals on my new skirt. Cons: awful staff and awful services more
