Salon Norman Dee

Mortified doesn?t describe how I feel about my recent haircut by Lauren. I needed my haircut on my lunch break so I left wet and wasn?t able to see the final product at the salon?. Thank god! because I might have lost my mind right there. I have wavy hair that I like to straighten. I had no layers at the time and said I wanted some. Instead I ended up with a bob and long hair below that, a modern day mullet if you will. The hair in the front of my face goes to my chin, on the sides it goes 5 inches below my shoulders, these are some striking layers, if there were any layers in between, its just one cut and than the other. This was my first time here and I will never ever be going back. This experience costs my 45 dollars plus the truck loads of hair ties I will be going through over the net few months till the monstrosity grows out. more

Natalie is great i wouldn't change, I spent years getting bad hair cuts trying to save a buck. Not worth it. I get a great hair cut everytime. Everyone is very nice. I got my hair colored for the first time by Liz she was amazing i would definitely ask for her again she spent alot of time with figuring out what could work. (my hair was red) she spent alot of time with me and made sure it was right. Offered magazines,coffee, bagles. Was very nice. more

I use to go salon norman dee when it was owned by Dee , i moved to florida for a few years and came back and i couldent wait to go spoile myself at norman dees , wow was i disappointed ! the place was run down dirty and the service was alful , my hair color was alful i would never go back ever ! 150.00 i dont mind paying , but the foil highlights i got looked good in the front and the back was all messed up , did she think i would never see the back of my hair ? donot go here run ! more

I just went to salon normen dee for the first time and bev did my color she listened to what I wanted and got it perfect. my color looks amazing. I couldnt be more happy. im so glad I found a colorist thats down to earth and so good. im a client for life now. more

Kristen gives THE BEST cuts and up do's! I have gone to her for about 2 years now and my two sisters go to her as well. She can do everything! I like and angled bob with bangs, my younger sister just changed her style to a cute pixie cut and my other sister has long hair with angles. She has mastered every cut, seriously! she does an amazing job and is very friendly. My whole family loves her. more

Last week I had my hair chemically straightened for $550. I went to this salon for this service because it received an award for this process in 2004. I had it straightened several years and liked the results. However, this past week after getting my hair straightened by a new stylist, I am angry to report I have two large bald spots on my head and severe scalp irritation. This is due to poorly trained stylist leaving the chemical in for too long. I am completely devasted by the results and cry myself to sleep every night thinking about my time and money wasted. Moral of the story, it's the stylist that makes or breaks this process, not the salon. Just because they won awards for it in the past does not mean every stylist in the salon deserves the title of ""highly qualified."" I feel like a fool and urge you to not ever go there for thermal reconditioning. Cons: will leave you with bald spots in your head and nothing can be offered to fix it more

This is a real salon and I am going to keep going here for all of my hair styling and waxing. The other place I had been going has gone downhill and is very bad now. Pros: Arthur is great more

I recently had a manicure and pedicure at Salon Norman Dee because I was preparing for a special night out with my boyfriend. First, the technician cut my toe (it was bleeding pretty bad) and the cuticle on some of my fingers. Then, I decided on a red polish and the paint job was probably the worst I've ever seen. It was very sloppy and all over my cuticles on both my hands and feet (not to mention the open cut mixed with the polish on my big toe). As soon as I got home I took all the polish off and re-did my nails myself. I didn't have time to re-do my feet so I wasn't able to wear my new open toe shoes. I will go somewhere else next time. Pros: Nice salon, smells good, clean Cons: Poorly skilled and sloppy nail technician more

Gia the colorist is terriffic. She know what I needed and reassurred me several times. It was the best color I've had in a long time. And Suzanne gave me a great haircut and style. I've never seen someone take so much time and care in cutting my hair. more

For the first time last week I went to Salon Norman-Dee and i love my highlights!!! Gia did my color and Lisa my cut. My friend recommended that i go there. And i'm so happy i did!! Pros: the shampoo girls give great scalp massages too!! more
